Here’s what I remember about MK11 off the top of my head:
- Time lady
- Shao Khan is playable
- Gear stuff
- When you punch they blow up
- Everyone loses their face a few times per match
- Smoke isn’t in it so they can go to hell

I would personally like to see Ashrah (she has a cool hook, being a redeemed Demon) or Nitara (I think she visually stands out from the rest of the cast, though she's kinda chomping Skarlet's bit at this point.)
It's a good song, but it can't take #1 Mortal Kombat related song away from Sub Zero, Chinese Ninja Warrior.

If nothing else, the story modes are really well done since MK9 and absolutely worth playing

That's pretty much me. I have fought maybe 25ish online matches in IJ2 total. I expect MK11 will be much the same. Hundreds of hours in single player stuff.
Not having a shitty baby tournament to train for like I did with IJ2 will take some of the fun out of it though

we could have the participants join a room with one another or whatever and stream the games! there might even be a way to do announcing over it if what i've just looked up is right (basically stream from the PS4 to twitch, then stream THAT stream along with announcing + screenshare with whoever else wants to announce). I still know jack shit about streaming, really, so that might be bogus, but it could be a good time any which way
I'd be game to participate again! Gonna be on PS4 (though I have no idea how to stream anything, being an old person)
That's about 85% true for me. The other 15% would be playing casually against friends in person over the course of a game and movie night. I don't think I've even tried online multi in any of their games from this generation.

I've skipped the story modes of the last 3 fighting games I've bought but that's not happening here. Minute one I'm jumping right into story mode. When that's done, training mode then online.
No idea who I'm starting with first though. Jax, Jacqui, Johnny, Noob, Liu Kang, Kotal, Sonya and Shao Khan all look cool to me. Cassie looks kind of boring but she might have cool gear moves or something. I also thought Skarlet looked boring but had the most fun with her in the beta due to her big range normals and her weird gear moves, one of which is a counter that you can just hold for like 3 seconds. One dude I was playing kept trying to throw it and got stabbed in the head for his trouble.
