I actually pulled out Mida on recommendation to pair with Erentil, and it went pretty well. I think I still prefer Bygones, but Mida's high mobility + Traction's improved turn radius is really absurd together. Also since I run top tree Nightstalker, I get to keep my Enhanced radar up.

Is a ranged weapon strongly needed to pair with it? I've got great rolls on both Austringer and Erentil but I don't know if I'm giving myself a GLARING weakness in not grabbing a pulse for my primary.

Eh, lots of people in high Comp run TLW/Recluse or Mountaintop/Recluse. Just use what gets you the most kills. The thing that helped me the most was embracing the meta. Bygones, Erentil, Wardcliff (bleh).
I will say, don't be afraid to change things up if your kit isn't working in a match/map. But also don't swap endlessly trying to find something that will work. Have like three solid loadouts you can rotate easily, one with shotgun is easy. Everyone should have a Dust Rock loadout by now.

One of the blue Solstice armor pieces for the Hunter needs Void weapon kills in the Crucible, so I pulled out an Erentil I just happened to have in my vault from seasons ago since I try to keep like 1 of everything
It's not even super great, Snapshot Sights and Rampage, Stability MW I think, don't know about the scopes or batteries

On that note, I now have all catalysts except the kinetic ones done.
I thought I'd try and make progress on DARCI while grinding EAZ minibosses, got maybe 3%? Sigh.
It's 300 headshots with DARCI. I can't remember if PvP counts for more but considering it's a heavy weapon you are better off just doing the PvE route. It's not actually that much compared to many other catalysts.

You should definitely be able to pick up the Solstice armor then. Then you can at least get free roll on elemental orbs and a few things even while you're finishing up story stuff.
Warlock suit is done. Looks real purty. Man those 10 gambit matches felt like a real fucking slog. Had to go to orbit after getting it for the boots to see that i'd reset my valor last week.

Forsaken Complete collection is $40, and that catches me up from Vanilla? Then what, $35 in October for Shadowkeep?
Should I just wait for Shadowkeep/New Light in October? Will New Light include the old DLC?

Well got the first blue suit. Evening Prime Time Crucible is just so much fun with six stacks galore. Oddly though I was pretty fine with that as I just wanted the matches to complete to tick that counter to 10...
Of course the very first Gambit match where I'm not actively trying to get Not on My Watch for Lumina I immediately do it on the first invade. Least that is taken care of now.

Got my first reaper medal last night using the nova warp super. Could've had 7, but I choked at the end, and couldn't get a grenade kill for the 7th column. And then the guardians I was fighting went immune, which was unfortunate.
