On the 4th of may I bought a tri-wing screwdriver for my GBA from ebay. It came today on the 15th of may and it isn't what I ordered. What rights do I have with this kind of thing?
This is the one that was pictured
this is the one I recieved
As you can tell the one I ordered was meant to have a big handle, and be a good screwdriver. However, I got a cheap piece of plastic.
This was the item number incase it's important: 160112780542
Start with a request for return and refund before burning all your bridges. Most sellers are honest people willing to correct their mistakes. You can easily escalate things by contacting ebay if that is neccesary.
dont offer a solution to the seller, allow them to offer one first. If it's not a good enough solution then explain what you think would be fair. Ideally in most cases with broken or wrong items, they should give you a full refund (everything you paid them) PLUS cover return shipping if they want the item back - or just surrender it to you to do what you want with it. Unfortunately many will try to get you to pay return shipping out of your own pocket for THEIR fuckup.
don't threaten feedback and don't be a dick about it.

but contact the seller first in a polite matter and explain to him your disatisfaction
give them the chance to right their own wrongs first.
i hope you paid via paypal and credit card so you can do a chargeback should you get nowhere with the seller
You can file a dispute with PayPal within 45 days for significantly not as described items.
