I kinda hope he does manage to trick his way back into the pantheon. I can understand wizards not wanting to tackle that right away though.

Yeah but he was also a God so if they were to introduce some sort of mechanic of the gods that prevents them from dying even when it seems like they really really should it wouldn’t be all that big of a deal. I like him and I hope he comes back. You’re not going to talk me into thinking it’s a stupid idea anymore than you could In a marvel comics thread.

Also, like, Emrakul made the spell to trap itself in the moon for some reason, and had that weird unconscious dream conversation/chess match with Jace, and pepped up Nissa in a vision. Weird shit.
I kind of feel like we're going to see Emeria before we see Emrakul again, which is a strange sentence to type.
Another important bit of info from this thread is that the Throne of Eldraine set mastery will have 110 levels vs the 100 that Core 2020 had, because there are more days between Throne of Eldraine and Theros: Beyond Death than there were between 2020 and Eldraine.
Everyone gets rewards up to level 92, mastery pass gets you rewards up to the the full 110, same price as Core 2020 mastery pass.
Hey I’ve been having another look at the set and was reminded that drown in the loche existed. Am I crazy or does this have real potential in modern? I’m not sure exactly where it goes but I a lot of modern decks are already helping this get online. It seems like without too much work this just becomes counterspell with murder attached.
