Everyone has Warcraft on the brain again so let's harken back to the good old days of everyone's favorite RTS

220px-Warcraft-2-Tides-Of-Darkness-Pc.jpg

Sure, I mostly played this by doing 8 player free for alls and turning on all the cheats, but this game also knew if you turned on invincibility you weren't immune to magic so it would go make hundreds of mages to fireball you to death. Good times.

Now, what's your favorite warcraft sound clip? Zug zug? Work complete!

That whole song plays in undercity if you have never done the quest. You get her sisters locket as a drop from some undead in Blood Elf starting zone and are told to bring it to Sylvie. She summons a backup chorus of banshees and the song plays throughout the whole undercity.

last year I finally completed the ICC quest for Shadowmourne and got the trinket that lets you summon the lament of the highborne anywhere and it is so great

That's only because the RTS portion was weak so the exploration levels were more fun. Building roads to build anything, max 4 unit selection, permanent vision, terrible pathing, AI won't rebuild destroyed buildings or pre-placed units. It was great for its time but 2 surpasses it in every way

@Brody that sucks bro. You're the normal one and they're being insensitive.

    Why?

And then when it is full screen, there is another button that turns the screen into night mode.

    Also, why?

oh my god the forums have a night mode

If I think my boss is making a huge mistake how strongly should I fight it?

How strongly should I just start talking to recruiters instead?

No, there is no WarCraft 4 because Blizzard hasn't found a good RTS to steal ideas from.

I need to stop getting hung up on naturally flirty girls

Just because she's flirting with you doesn't mean she likes you

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

the "no true scotch man" fallacy.

Let's do this as a risk hierarchy.
Is the mistake something you will be criminally liable for?
Is the mistake something you will be civilly liable for?
Is the mistake something your company be civilly liable for?
Is the mistake just something super dumb that is going to cost your company a shitload of money?

If the answer to the top 2 is yes, fight hard. If the answer to the top 2 is no and yes to either of the bottom 2, then register your objection, document the hell out of it and make sure your resume is up to date and send it around.
