Oh Beck has three great albums and three to four good ones sprinkled through his catalog.

The three great ones are all pretty different from each other.

    Odelay, Sea Change, and ?

    Guero?

    Yep.

Guero is arguably a more talented, more coherent progression of what he's doing on Odelay but if you had two different vocalists covering the songs off each album I don't think many people would think they came from the same source

Modern Guilt, Midnight Vulture and Colors are all really good but not great.

I shouldn’t think so, but I don’t think they’ve had more than one solid album.

The Moon & Antarctica is so hella good tho

I think I have four of their albums? Lots of good songs throughout.

10 years ago I would listen to The Moon & Antarctica on the way to work in the early morning when it was dark and cool, and then We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank on the way back in the afternoon when it was sunny and warm. They fit my mood really well.

I do wish the Beck/Jack White collaboration had produced more than two songs though.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wIhDP75lMI

Also, Jack White and Billy Corgan need to make a straight blues album together.

I was thinking, we'll surely some electrónica groups have put out four solid albums but upon consideration perhaps not.

Röyksopp has three which is the highest

BT: IMA, ESCM, Movement in Still Life, These Hopeful Machines

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

You could make a case for Radiohead having four great albums, but no two people would agree on which four they are.

Just via number Bad Religion has put out at least 4 good albums. I mean if you like Bad Religion.

The Empire Strikes First, True North, Stranger than Fiction, and The Process of Belief. Also Bad Religion can all be smashed into a play list and just sound like one continuous album and it is punk.

Similarly: Primus has four good albums, if you like Primus.

    (And I do!)

(Or did. I'm old now, who knows what I like anymore.)

For all the bands that have existed, I really can't think of many that I've knowingly heard four albums from.

    -Pink Floyd
    -Metallica
    -GnR
    -Pantera
    -Primus
    -Pixies
    -Sonic Youth
    -NiN (?)
    -Tool (?)

And I'm not sure I actually dug four albums from everyone on that list. NiN lost me after 3. I can remember "a" song from four Pantera albums; but I suspect the albums were mostly rage fodder.

If Midnight Vultures was just Debra 11 times in a row it'd still be one of the best albums ever.

Debra belongs in the karaoke hall of fame, at minimum
