The sword is one of my two worst weapons so I tend to be more cautious when using it. I ended up getting Aphrodite's legendary boon very, very early and then later got Athena's legendary boon and I think the only times I dropped below 75% health the entire run was when I accidentally face tanked bullet spam.

so I'm stuck with the final weapon upgrades:
so I've beaten hades three times with the rail
Unlocked at least one aspect on every weapon (7 unlocks total)
Talked to Achilles up to his locked heart
and now I can't seem to get Achilles to talk about the spear so I can unlock the final aspect

Hmm, maybe you need to beat the final boss with the spear first? That was the first weapon I beat the game with, so it's a bit hard for me to say exactly, but I know I was offered it fairly readily.
Someone else in here and myself with the fists noticed that the last aspect didnt unlock until a point had been spent on the base aspect even if five total had already been put into it
I tried doing a run with the secret spear aspect and it did not go well. I lost two death defiances by the time I reached Elysium. I had Patroclus refill them just to have Theseus kill me three times. I switched to Skelly's tooth just to have a death defiance, but it didn't matter because the first big satyr I ran into killed me twice.
First time I've even died in Styx before the boss.

I got the secret spear and fists without having upgraded their Zagreus aspects at all.
I got that aspect without beating the game with the spear, had just spent a bunch of titan's blood on all the 1-cost aspects and it popped on the next conversation.
Final Boss down on my 14th run. Got a fairly strong spear build where it was ricocheting and dealing extra damage with a crit chance on the return, plus a bunch of health upgrades, and Hermes gave me Side Hustle very early on so I got a bunch of extra coin. Actually had about 300 by the end I couldn't spend anything on.
Cheesed Theseus and Asterius so hard. Using the gun with rockets perk, the increased special damage and 20% crit, and cluster bombs, so 5 rockets per shot. On top of that I have the charm call so after I killed the bull I just repeatedly charmed Theseus and point blank shot him in the back with 5 rockets.
Going live for a bit to show off the sort of bullshit you can do with Eris aspect on the Gun. Extreme measures 3 will be active, post-final boss spoilers for the story, so be ye wary!

the multi rocket launcher is by far the most efficient combo I've tried
like taking on the last area and final boss without losing a life or needing to heal
I cannot figure out how best to use the Zeus aspect of the shield
You just let it keep flying while you beat the heck out of people, just pull it back if it's off target. Pairs real well with Zeus special, would also be good with cold/hangover

I love the Zeus shield, as mentioned it works great with the Zeus special, and then generates huge bonuses if you get the jolted and double lightning upgrades, or with the ares special and doom stacks
Throw it into the center of the room and you can smack dudes into it, if it's in front of you you can also use it to deflect, for enemies like the bull that follow you, you can have it chase you while dealing damage
and you can use the charged shield to block and then rush people while it's out
It is frankly extremely rude that Patroclus is there to refill your Death Defiances BEFORE you do the Elysium boss
that's not when I'm gonna need it, dude!

I still have not cleared the game, so I've only got six titan blood
Kind of considering just maxing out the Aspect of Zagreus on the fists
I kinda reccomend the magnet hands on the fist, but aspect of Zag is good too. Dodge is always useful.
Focus on knowing which runs can possibly go the distance and which runs are more for farming darkness/keys whatnot.
Athena's ult really helps for the final phase of the final boss. I hit that phase with 3 rezes, lost all 3, and then popped the Athena call for just the amount of time to free wail on him to victory.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

The thing about magnet fists is that I could literally only afford two ranks right now
Ok Poseidon with Chiron is hilarious with the legendary boon and +4 arrows upgrade. Imagine an enemy getting knocked back 22 times per special. Even the big annoying armored rat/satyr dies instantly when they hit the wall.
The doomstone in part 1 and the witches circle in part 2 are two encounters that guarantee I will either use up my death’s defiance or completely eat shit

Anyone else to the point where they just want to talk to people and buy fancy decorations for the rooms?
Had a really fun Adamant Rail run where I Daedulused it into being, functionally, a full-auto shotgun. Extreme damage, limited clip, limited range. I got Zeus' dash damage ability, upgraded to have that damage Jolt. Got Demeter's ray, upgraded to inflict Chill.
Drop crystal, inflict Chill. Dash behind target, Jolting them on the way. Unload for massive backstab damage.
By far my fastest clear time. Bosses absolutely crumpled.

Got to Hades for the first time with a pretty unfocused build
Using the fists, my main damage dealer was the Artemis special, a Chaos boon to boost special damage, and a hammer upgrade to create a shockwave when landing
Finally got the Artemis/Zeus Duo boon in the Temple of Styx, but I just didn't have enough health to finish the job
Had my first victory last night! I had the idea of putting hangover on the adamant rail and just rapid-fire applying those stacks. It worked really well!
There was an awkward moment early on where I took a chaos gate and the only boons worth getting made me take damage when attacking, so I ended up going through several rooms trying to hit super-mobile jumping guys with unbooned casts and grenades. Could easily have saved what felt like 5-10 minutes off my time if not for that.

I'm missing an underworld location in the codex?
without spoiling anything, you'll need to unlock at least 5 heat and buy an upgrade from the contractor to access that location
There's an easier way to unlock the entry in the codex
"borrow" some money from Charon when you have the option.

Had both Attack and Special applying Chill, Lightning on dodge, Jolted+the duo boon that makes it so Jolted has a 10s duration, and the boon that causes DoT if every enemy has Chill

* You need to have the Fated list puchased
* get to the last boss once (don't have to win)
* Spend at least one blood in every other weapon in something other than your default (sword of poseidon, not sword of Zag, etc)
* Keep talking to Achilles

You use it together with on-hit stuff and then it does tons of little hits while it hovers through enemies
