The most hilarious part of that "no co-streaming" thing is that E3 doesn't own any part of any of these streams
In fact pretty much every one of the presenters has come out specifically and allowed co-streaming, many of them pointing out that they've tried to ensure that the music played during the stream would not cause any issues
More and more it just feels like the ESA showed up and started acting like they were in charge, without actually doing anything or being involved with any of it
The way I understood it was more of a warning than a "we will shut you down" thing. Like "don't ask us for help, we don't control the rights here"

Yeah I don’t think the ESA can stop the DMCA robots because nothing stops the DMCA robots.
Honestly, I kind of wish I watched the Devolver stream without the talk-over?
Jeff Gerstmann said after the Ubi conference the reason why they wouldn't be talking over the Devolver stream is that they'd just be telling their own jokes over Devolver's jokes and that's not really that interesting to do.

Yes, that mail reads rather like "look, we don't necessarily mind if you restream, but understand that unless you're literally one of the costreamers who signed up as one of us in advance so we can tell youtube to exclude your channel there's fuck all we can do for you if the Eye of Youtube turns on you and you lose your monetization or whatever".

The email is saying "we don't control the content ID shit, please don't get mad at us if you get copyright struck" rather than "we specifically will copyright strike you," it's just a disclaimer

I really hope Bethesda's stuff is one straight flow like it was when they were single (before MS put a ring on that finger) rather than spread throughout the Xbox conference.
Not gonna have much interest in anything else, I fear. Treat Todd like the prized pony he is.

"Bethesda" just really has Starfield to show off (and maybe "hey look at the new stuff in Elder Scrolls Online and Fallout 76" which I imagine will get rolled into a montage of "Here's all of our live service games and what updates are coming out for them"
If you want to get into the wider Zenimax stuff, I don't see why that all needs to be clustered together; it's all Microsoft at this point. No reason they need to keep Wolfenstein 3 (or whatever) next to Starfield.
I think Bethesda show being strong enough on its own is a good thing for MS, they get two shows and twice the exposure
Half of Zenimax's upcoming lineup is PS5 exclusive, so that's probably why they're not having a solo event this year. They likely only have Starfield and maybe one or two other games to show off.
I'm keeping my expectations fairly low for the MS/Bethesda thing -- Microsoft announced a ton of games from all their studios (especially the new ones) with release dates in the far-flung future the last time, so they might not have many surprise new things to announce.
That said I'm absolutely looking forward to more details on Psychonauts 2 and that thing Rare's been working on. Maybe some Starfield stuff?
Edit: Or maybe they could show off a bunch of third-party stuff.
oh, that was absolutely a soundalike actor. Unless it's directly tied to a movie, it's not often that the actual actor does their video game voice due to the costs.
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
I never actually got into any of the Battlefield games. This looks like chaos to me. I play a lot of Call of Duty Cold War but I hate Warzone. And not a fan of Fortnite. I’m guessing Battlefield 2042 isn’t for me, is it?
I like smaller scope stuff like Overwatch and Cold War regular multiplayer.

I'm guessing whoever they got to do his voice in Disney Infinity

Kind of sounded like a knock off to me. I wonder if Disney can sign off on not using Johnny D?
Yeah I was joking - didn’t sound like Depp to me.
I was going to make a 21 Jumpstreet joke but then I... I didn’t.
