I got p90 first roll like many, then switched to handguns and after like 120? 140? rolls gave up because I didn't get a single 5* let alone Storm. I'll get better ROI waiting for the general rate up.
I admit, I regret a bit going hard on this rate up than I planned, particularly since I only had about 50 contracts. I got Px4 on the first roll, then kept rolling SMGs for the rest. In rolling SMGs, notably I did get
another C-MS (mentioned before)
SAR-21 (the new 4* AR of this batch)
and 100 Shiki
as well as a few various 4* units, so now I have like no contracts, but like 100 cores (probably the most I've ever had). Now I'm probably gonna try and horde contracts so on the rate up, I can roll for Enfield.

If you have enough chapters unlocked, you can grab a fair few contracts that way. Also, getting silver/gold medals for each mission provide 1 contract each (iirc).

So after a week, I'm still enjoying the game. I discovered the joys of Planning Mode, particularly for when I'm farming a map. I've been following a lot of the suggestions I found in this guide, but I wanted to check something with the thread before I did something I might regret.
Do people actually disassemble 4* and 5* units that they don't plan on using? I'm so used to gacha games where everyone hoards any higher rarity unit they pull in case they become useful down the line (or for collecting, etc). That guide has a chart about half-way down that lists a bunch of units for disassembly - am I actually okay in ditching any of those units I have?
@abotkin
There is a doll recovery system where you are permitted to pay a fee of cores to restore any doll that meets the following two requirements:
1: the doll is unlocked in your index (ie you have owned a copy at some point in time)
2: you do not presently own any copies of that doll.
IIRC, the recovery fee is 3x however many cores that you would have received from coring the doll. There might also be a restriction that you can only use the recovery feature once per week, but I'm fuzzy on that and have never utilized the system myself.
So in conclusion, hoarding only really benefits you if you intend to run duplicates of a doll. If you are content with a singleton copy, then you can freely dismantle any doll since you can recover a copy in the future in exchange for some cores.

It's a link to a logistics calculator. Plug in which missions that you have access to, how greatly you weight each reward relative to the other rewards, and how frequently you can check the app to claim rewards, and it provides a selection of suggested logistics missions to run. I've gone an added the link to the new player's guide post.
For the past few weeks, I've been running the logistics missions 0-2, 1-4, 2-4, and 7-2. My teams have been pulling in about 100 tdoll crafting contracts a week. While those numbers are boosted by me sending squads of level 100 dolls at them to boost the great success rate, they are tempered by me being frequently tardy in my collections. Don't forget quick production contracts as well. The aforementioned missions don't bring in any, but that didn't concern me since I personally have over a thousand quick production contracts in the bank. One would probably want to tailor those missions to account for which basic resources they are presently lacking in.
edit:
Also, as the rate up period has concluded, it is arguably in most player's best interest right now to restrict themselves to just their 4 daily crafts so that they can save production contracts for the general rate up.
I have a bunch of stockpiled calibration tickets that I've never looked into. I might want to use them for a last minute point Sprint. What would you normally use them on?
Any 5* equipment really. Maybe a NV scope or hv ammo for another AR to use in Singularity. Maybe an ammo box if you haven't set up an mg team for farming data Sims yet. Or a set of body armor/exo for m16 for more efficiently dragging 0-2.

this is going to probably boil down to a sweaty vote between G36 and SAA, sorry Mosin Nagant
From what I've heard, Mosin mod 3 is ridiculously strong on the CN client after the bamboo rework. There is apparently big demand for any rifles that can knock down doppelsoldners quick since they're running into gundams that make the Pioneer EX map look like a walk in the park.
I haven't decided who to vote for in the 2* bracket, but I think that I'll be voting for Uzi and Cola in the 3* and 4* brackets. I have a feeling that m14 and g36 will win those brackets though.

the thing is EN previewed Doppelsoldners with the Va11 Hall-a collab but they first showed up in Continuum Turbulence and Ch. 11. We are getting Ch 10 and Singularity soonish but that means we probably aren't regularly seeing Doppelsoldners for at least another half a year since the story order should be Ch 10 -> Singularity -> Continuum Turbulence -> Ch 11 -> Isomer -> Shattered Connexion, which makes getting RFs a distant concern right now esp considering Singularity is apparently RF unfriendly
Hi I have been playing this game for a bit and silently lurking the thread. Is F2000 gonna get an upgrade at some point? I've loved that wacky-ass, space marine looking gun ever since modern warfare 2.
My friend is working on a roguelike game you can play if you want to. (It has free demo)

she has not gotten one as of this moment on the older servers but it's possible? digimind upgrade picks are pretty random so there's no guarantee

But we will be seeing a spike in elite units like Hydras, and Mosin mod 3 would be an option for people who haven't lucked into some of the 5* anti-elite dolls like Grape or M200. We'll also probably be getting the new client sometime shortly after Singularity, so she'll probably benefit from the power spike from the bamboo rework. Also: Those legs.
All three of the 4* dolls are nice picks IMO. I'm still voting for Cola though.

I'm voting for G36, personally
Not only is she just rad anyway, but after mod she is absurdly good.
Here's her mod 2 skill
When "Firepower Focus T" activates, increase the evasion of those on her tile buffs by 25% for 5.0 seconds. For every T-doll on her tile buffs during the passives activation, G36 gets 10% rate of fire for 5.0 seconds (Stacks twice).
I'm a bit more torn on the 2* vote
FN-49 is one of the best rifles in the entire game after her mod, but I've already got M14 and Lee
1911 is also a smoke HG, even if that's not ALWAYS useful it is at least unique
Orphanerivers of redthat run to seaRegistered Userregular
I'm voting G36 because while SAA is really strong as well I still need more ARs than HGs

4* is largely a can't lose situation, which is nice
3* is essentially a foregone conclusion and putting literally anything else up against M14 is just funny
I thought calibration was only re-rolling stat distribution. It's actually about increasing the base stats of an item (as well as re-rolling). But you can just re-roll till max. It's not scary and is easy. Do not avoid it like me.
What is this I don't even.

It's rerolling stats, with (iirc) an overall tendency to improve as you do it more times.
"I will write your name in the ruin of them. I will paint you across history in the color of their blood."
There's an upper and lower bounds for what an item's stats can be at a given level. Calibrating randomizes where you fall on that spectrum, with a tendency to trend upwards and a pity system that maxes out your results after sufficient rolls.

As far as I can tell it's not a sympathy system. You always go up, just by a random amount, and you may not like the weight distribution after a given "up."
There's a pity system in place. After enough consecutive rolls the game just maxes the stats out even if you rolled snake eyes for the past few dozen rolls. I just forget how many rolls it is before it kicks in.

given that neural upgrade was guaranteed in the September roadmap, i'm guessing digimind will release on the 24th since it can't be until after the voting and, well, the 24th is the only Tuesday left in Sept after that. THey tend to only push major updates on Tuesdays so...
Reminder that the "entrance exam" point event expires tonight. Finish unlocking whatever challenges that you want before then. Ideally you can collect everything except the very final reward which isn't important, but SRS is the only reward worth fretting over IMO. Even then, it's not the end of the world since she'll be a limited release drop in an event eventually.

Whew, didn't realize it expired tonight. Just got the second to last reward last night by finishing up 5-2 five times. So, we just chillin' till the 17th when the vote happens?

Things are kinda in a holding pattern right now. Probably best to patch up any damage done to your resources/construction contracts. We still have the general rate up soon.
Since the targeted rate up was so generous to me, I've stopped dragging and have tried to get in to my lazier but far less resource efficient xp grinding by defeating Alchemist back to back to back on 6-4E. But apparently something has broken with auto-resupply in the past few weeks? The first echelon to make a planned move move each turn isn't resupplying like they should from the friendly helipads that they start their turns on.

Looks like this week is an EXP up event, so go get those levels.
Edit to avoid triple posting.
Damnit, I just pulled NWT-20 on my shotgun roll. Which is apparently the best Nuke RF (which isn't necessarily useful at the moment, but she looks cool), and I want to level her and my M99, but I'm already behind on cores for Welrod and Lee Enfield... And RO635, and PKP, and Type95, and the new ones that dropped that I haven't even started leveling...

I still have a few extra dolls to level up for singularity, and I'm feeling kinda lazy right now, so I'm investing some of my excess resources into auto battles with an auto battle card for this EXP up event.
Also, vote for Cola and Uzi!

you also just need more ARs when it comes to night ops than you need HGs because RF/MG comps stop cutting it as soon as scouts start showing up in night battles
on a separate note don't forget that for xp up events you will also get surplus xp faster than normal and therefore be able to make combat reports more often
keep an eye on your surplus xp bar to make sure you aren't wasting that assuming you have batteries to spare
