the fact that u can literally microwalk in front of a staggered enemy and neutral press r1 and still get no crit sometimes is a bit spicy, really feel like they gotta tidy that shit up

My one gripe with this game is that I am awful at finding the map fragments and it’s way less fun to explore without the map
when u walk into an unexplored area it goes from grey to brown, if the map reveal item is in that brown area it appears as the only feature. then u just jog over
I'm not even mad she killed me, she's 1000% cooler than my PC will ever be
she invaded while i was riding across the scarlet rot, causing me to instantly get blighted and then killed me as i was trying to recover my bloodstain past that point

Unless its the north part of Altus then good fucking lord trying to find that thing even knowing where it is doesn't help you!
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

They look like tiny obelisks on a zoomed in map that hasn't been found. They also follow the road paths that show up on the unfound map sections.

ok coop in elden ring is fun as hell
the bosses are actually somewhat challenging in a coop setting
I’m waffling on of I want to buy ps+ again for multiplayer. With my internet, it’s a gamble, and I dunno if it’ll work.

So I found that I could change an ash from keen to heavy.
So I have a heavy quickstep Zweihander.
I have never felt more sorry for these enemies. Things that could once step away from me now just get clonked as I quickstep right after them and annihilate them.
I have become the boss they have to fight in Elden Ring.
i think a fromsoft mmo is inevitable at this point
I don't know how that would even work and I don't think it would at all? Like I could see maybe a better co op experience where like you can join your bud drop in drop out without it being region or boss specific, but mmo? I don't think the formula fits that genre.

it is an easy leap:
elden ring except coop is the default experience.

But that's not an mmo. Like an MMO would be like a group of people wandering every zone screaming about butt holes.

it would be a rpg that is massive, multiplayer, and online. it’s got all the elements
just because it wouldn’t be a WoW clone doesnt mean it couldn’t be an mmo.

It could be like old school asherons call when mmos actually required skill instead of mindless grinding. I miss those days

Very very minor level design quibbling in Castle Morne
I could simply not find the relevant quest NPC (for which you are first sent to Castle Morne), to the point where I just went ahead and killed the area boss. Finally, after pretty much going full Walls of Jericho and running around the place seven times, I realized you have to jump down off a bridge to a ramparts that's separated from the rest of the level.
Not really a big deal at all, and of course with the jumping mechanic combined with the notoriously obfuscated ladders / drop-off points in From Soft games I should've kept my eyes peeled better, but just from an architectural perspective I was expecting the dang lord of the keep to be in a visible and reachable place!
I created a sign for that, "Jump down here" or something and I constantly get appraisals for it I believe.
I just want to petition the government of Elden Ring to ban automated threshers. These menaces to Banished serve no purpose and I don't know what mad scientist made them but they were wrong.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
Where do you add a password I can’t seem to find it again and I swear I’ve seen it before

I'm poking around Stormveil after beating Godrick and I'm pretty sure I initially stumbled into the speedrun path through this place. I didn't see 99% of this shit on my way in. It's so big what the hell!
I'm doing this thing where I wander around the world map for awhile, then go back and grind through some more of stormveil castle, it's been nice. Those birds can fuck off though.
As soon as I find a strength based ranged weapon I'm gonna go back to Stormveil for some target practice on those birds.

As I’m hitting what I assume is midgame, the melee combat (mostly due to a single boss) has turned into the crazed, weighty fighting thats easily the best of any From game but Sekiro.
And even though it doesn’t have Sekiros mechanics, the feel of frenetic battle and back and forth is alive and well here and is giving me that similar good brain juice feel Sekiro did, and makes it a very, very close second.
...huh..there appears to have been a patch since i last played last night..that tanked my fps by an average of 30% on both the computers i play on.. *slow clap* fromsoft *slow clap*
Anyone encountered any axes other than Handaxe and Forked Hatchet with the faster moveset (it looks the same but takes most of a second less to finish the full loop compared to something like the battle axe)?

I am beginning to feel the same. The more my stats are clearly getting where From wants them and the fact I've got my Bloodslash Claymore when I want something dead, it's starting to feel really good now. I swear to god though the shittiest worst tracking bosses are all up front and then it calms down a lot and you have better tools to deal with the faster bosses. The last 4 Gaols I've done were all really easy compared to the two early ones in Limgrave (Bloodhound Knight and Crucible Knight).

Edit: I think Bloodslash might be a tad OP.
If you're heavily invested into sorceries, for Raya Lucaria...
The boss was a cool fight, but I wish there was a stake of marika at that fight, because that 1 minute runback wasn't awesome.
