    I type "Aeris" out of years of habit, but hasn't it been Aerith in pretty much every media outside of the actual localized PS1 game?

    I still hate the correct name, just everything about how it sounds. It's got bad mouthfeel.

    I don't have a dog in this fight but when I say Aerith out loud I feel like I'm mocking someone who has a lisp, though that's likely just because I don't have occasion to say a lot of names that end that way
