I was really tempted to buy that thing and then I saw an unboxing video of it and realized just how damn huge it is. I don't have room for it!
If only they had one like half that size I'd be all over it

A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

Yeah I'm really going to have to move stuff around to accommodate it. I'm looking to move in the next 2 years so I was thinking I might get one when I had more space, but it was £180 off so I pulled the trigger.

Reminder since a bunch of companion streams are coming back this weekend - you can watch the match with picture-in-picture companion stream using solomon's gigabrain viewer:

mayhem v outlaws/havana
honestly i feel like houston should not have been able to full hold on that defense, with that comp especially. feels more like mayhem got overconfident and slipped up
edit: ah yes there's the outcome i was expecting, what are they thinking

the LA desk's greenscreen is to hide the fact their production is being run out of a cardboard box on the corner outside the old blizzard arena

I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying the homestand format, I didn't really think I would. It's obviously resulting in a lot of early technical issues, which isn't surprising. But I like getting a couple of teams in one city and then just have them all play each other, it makes it a lot easier to figure out who's better than who and which wins were flukes and which are meaningful.

Yeah I was skeptical but I'm enjoying it. It's good for local fans too since matches can be kinda short, they get to see several matches and teams. Also with home crowds we actually are getting some organic spice. Colourhex taunting the NY crowd, Stratus taunting the Philly crowd. It's a lot of fun seeing some real rivalries start to form. I'm excited for the Paris homestands in particular. French fans get rowdy and that should be fun to see their much improved team feed off of that energy.
On a similar note, the China matches are going to be made up in Seoul (rumored to be at where Apex used to be held) in weeks 6 and 7 I think with some being added to the Seoul homestand. Still unsure of what Chengdu is going to do since they are the only team still in China.
Yeah the new match format is good, but I feel like the video quality on YouTube is worse. I don't know if it's degrading more often than twitch did, or just less gracefully, but there are matches where half the time it's too blurry to make anything out.
You can still watch on mlg as well, their video quality seems to be better with less artifacting. You can even pop out YTs chat into a seperate window if you want to keep it.

I have no regrets

beautiful.
Outrageous stats
That series may hold a record for most time spent paused. Not counting the time last year the venue neighborhood flat out lost power.
too bad he and leejaegon got split up to different teams tho
There was that Dallas/Guangzhou match last year that had that hour long pause.
Ellivote has been really solid so far.
