Y'ALL, IF YOU THOUGHT A FUCKING 2/2 WEAPON WAS STRONG, GET READY TO FUCKING CRY TEARS OF BLOOD OVER THIS GARBAGE. 6 DAMAGE FOR 2 MANA, HOLY FUCKING HELL
Jesus. This is, legit, going to be in E V E R Y Rogue deck going forward, until it rotates. Holy FUCKING SHIT WHAT WERE THEY FUCKING THINKING
edit: AND THERE'S ZERO FUCKING DOWNSIDE THIS TIME AROUND. AT LEAST WITH ODD ROGUE YOU HAD TO KNEECAP YOUR DECK A BIT. BUT NOPE, LITERALLY NOT EVEN THIS FUCKING TIME AROUND!!!
When I have a Priest quest lately, I've been playing this Silence Priest and... it's been working better than I expected. Tonight I went 2-0 against Midrange Hunter and a Conjurer Mage. The deck is pretty draw dependent, though, and sometimes you don't draw enough of your minions and end up with a hand clogged with silence and buffs.
The Rogue Quest is powerful, but not immediate like Baku, which was a big part of the problem. Spending around 4 turns playing subpar minions or spells and then 2 Mana to equip your blades most probably put you in defense mode anyways.

Ehhh, Blink Fox and.... that.... 4/3 pirate whose name I forget... aren't subpar.
Here's the thing, I don't think you even have to build around this quest. You play it on T1, then just play Rogue as normal and it completes itself. Because Rogue has plenty of steal cards already.
edit: depending on what else we get tho, yeah idk maybe adding pilfer might not be a bad idea for consistency....
I've been sorta disheartened from the moment that we saw the first quest posted. The Hearthstone team hasn't learned that Hero Powers are dangerous and we should probably just take a break from fiddling with them for a year. I thought that's what we were doing when they said there'd be no more Hero cards this year.
And too often are poorly thought out game mechanics and cards excused by the fact that they're bad or "probably won't see play." That really only matters until it isn't true anymore, and unless you have a crystal ball or your brother Jeff works at Blizzard, I'm pretty sure you can't predict if the next expac supports that broken shit or not, not to mention if other cards are nerfed or HoF'd and make room for them. There are lots of cards in this set that I don't think are going to make it into the meta at all, but have the potential to ruin the fucking game if another expac supports them even a teeny tiny bit.
The Hearthstone team has shown that they are willing to make more frequent nerfs, I’m not overly concerned about the Rogue quest being oppressive for long.

Blink fox and hench clan bugler are pretty good cards.

I dunno, I think they make nerds just about as frequently as they can.
They're thinking "Hmm, our stats indicate that Delduwath has played this game obsessively when it came out, playing Rogue almost exclusively, but in the last half a year or so he's barely been playing. We gotta hook that chump back in. What's the best way to do that? Maybe we can leverage his affection for Rogue somehow."
Anyway, I think that this is a pretty OP quest, and I agree that it naturally slots into almost any deck and doesn't require special effort to complete, but I'm also not sure that the reward will arrive early enough in the game to be back-breaking. We'll see, I guess, because obviously I'm crafting this day 1.

That Rogue Quest is incredible. Good lord. This expansion is crazy, makes me want to pre-order again.
The real concern is having enough steal cards without diluting your deck. The lists running Vendetta, Blink Fox, and Hench-Clan Burglar will be far too inconsistent to complete your quest in a timely manner.
These are your odds for drawing 4 steal cards if you run the left side number of steal cards and draw the top side number of cards:
So you'll need a dozen+ steal cards to finish your quest by turn 8ish 80% of the time.

Quest: Get 4 cards from another class. Reward: Ancient Blade
Ancient Blade (Hero Power): Equip a 3/2 dagger. Your hero is immune while attacking.
Edit: Here they are in English. The universal language.

Just getting 4 cards from another class is a joke for Rogue.

Seems to be get. The comic used to announce it showed the quest activating immediately after playing Pilfer.

Well that is the tradition so far...
Add 5 cards
Then
A 3/1 dagger or 3/2 without immune
Guarantee you Rogue will not care if it loses the Immune because they are not going to be hitting minions.

Rogue quest seems pretty strong and makes Pharaoh Cat even better since it has a ~1/3 chance to generate a class card.

Just like the Jade Druid days. Ahh, memories.
the rogue quest is just like, so obviously too strong, especially in comparison to most of the other quests
that said, it makes the thief rogue mirror even more hilarious

Agreed. But still with the weapon buffs out there you're going to be hit for a lot or remove a high value minion for no damage.
Always up, doesn't require board, 2 mana every 2 turns.

Like that's the very real cost of all quests in aggro decks, is being down a card AND a turn 1 play

I want to hit the agree button, but:
