lmao I beat the final Plague Lord on my first try with only Finley. The combination of the lifesteal lance with the overload hero power is seriously busted.
First heroic murloc run, i'm on boss 7 but feeling quite confident, i's a Finley run with a bunch of early game tokens plus:
Discs of legends passive
The passive that reshuffles two 1-cost minions in your deck when you play one
Maxwell
4(!) Crusties
A shitton of high value lategame bombs
So far all my games have been: play Maxwell onto a big board, Crusty Maxwell, Crusty Crusty then Crusty Crusty etc.
At least you can use it to finish class quests and sometimes play Bees
I've been having more fun with this brawl than I have had with HS in a very long time.
A few times I've let my opponent live (for multiple turns) so they could finish their grand-scheme of whatever crazy stuff they were going for, just to see it.
Like that 20-20 guy that does 20 dmg to all enemies, etc..

I did tombs 3 on heroic. I had to go 5 times against the final boss, and it wasn't until I got 2 Crook and Flail and a tracking device.
At which point I had done 30 points of damage by turn 2. 100 points of damage by turn 5, and Finished it off by turn 7.
Heroic is tough. Now time to work on tombs 4. Then I might got through with each person and get more of their treasures by going through tombs 1 again.
Tombs 4 done on first try. The difficulty is a bit wacky sometimes.

Also, make sure to have a quest slot freed up. I think they are doing legendary quests starting tomorrow...or next week the news was not clear.
Man. Secret Mage may be better than Cyclone Quest Mage, but going off with Cyclone Quest Mage is so much fun. It’s a lot more satisfying to grind out my Mage wins with Cyclone Quest than Secret.
Civics is not a consumer product that you can ignore because you don’t like the options presented.
by the way, hearthstone grandmaster blitzchung will have his title revoked, receive no winnings, and be banned for a year for supporting the Hong Kong protests
I mean, I can see anyone having to do with that stream (i.e. casters) fearing political backlash as a real concern.
They'll make you disappear in the mainland for that kind of stunt. I mean shit, they're already giving you a social score with facial-recognition all over the place.
So, you know, it's not quite the same as other situations like the NFL stuff, etc..
At least in the whole China / Hong Kong / that entire region aspect.

I sort of understand the player getting banned for making the statement, but the casters shouldn't get banned that's bullshit... and reducing the pool of money that the dude already won is dumb as hell too. Just send him packing with his money if you wanted to 'protect your image', instead Blizzard pretty much combo-eviscerated their rep. I was already not planning on giving Blizzard any more HS money, now I'm considering not giving them any more money period.

I was trying to complete a hunter card quest using 6 shooters. And I accidentally created an insanely successful deck, because it counters the infinite combo meta the priests are using. I couldn't lose.
If anyone needs a decent Hearthstone replacement, Mythgard has been pretty great. It took some ideas from Hex, which had magic roots, and then followed Hearthstone's simpler one player one turn mechanics.
I mean i kind of get it (regardless of the
message HS GM is not the place for it) but i'm pretty upset about this...
Apparently even the casters hid under the table to try and distance themselves.
As you, I understand why Blizz did this (strict rules, etc.) but the entire situation still sucks.
According to Reddit the casters knew what he was going to say and hid under the table before he said it.
They made a stream for entertainment political on purpose and basically threw Blizzard for the wolves, with no good out as they are forced into a political decision, which they tried to solve via the rules, but the damage is already done.

yeah, the best trick you can do with practically all the bosses is to get the -1 atk ring and the taunt minion that summons 3x 1/1 minions for your opponent...screws up so many of the plans, especially that guy who summons cultists. worked great on the lords as well.
