I know this came out this week. It's in GS' system, it's for sale on their website, yet no store in this part of the state seems to know it exists.

Did any store actually carry it, or is this some online-only deal?

Also, the XB version supposedly has different games, yet there's no listing for it. Was only the PS2 version localized? XB is supposed to have RayCrisis instead of RayStorm, so I kind of wanted that one more.

I'll stick with the PS2 one if it comes to that, but eh.

    It's worth it for G-Darius alone. The PSX copy goes for more than twice that on ebay.

    This has been out in the UK for ages.

    I've allways planned to get it at some point, but couldn't decide between the ps2 or the xbox version.

    Gamestop.com lists it as an exclusive, so I guess it's not sold in stores. I can't find it listed anywhere else, that's weird.

    But I'll probably give them the business, I've wanted this game localized for a while.

    I'm pretty sure the XBOX version has RayForce, and RayCrisis doesn't show up on either.

    Wait, there's not Bubble Bobble in this collection, so why do they picture the Bubble Bobble dragon on the front cover?


    Are those little guys in some other game besides BB?





    also, is this out in stores? I need to get this for G Darius and Darius Gaiden. It's worth it for those, if you ask me. I feel like I'm paying $10 for G Darius and $10 for Darius Gaiden, and when I think about it like that, it sounds like an excellent deal.

    They're in Puzzle Bobble, aka Bust A Move, so they're kind of in this collection too.

    And I caved in and bought it online.I have a feeling this isn't in stores yet. Maybe it will be eventually, but eh, I'm not risking it.

    I'm mostly getting this just for the Ray game. I loved that series in the arcade when one actually had it.

    And I have the GBA Bubble Bobble, so I'm okay without that.

    Gamestop stores have them in stock now, or at least, their website says they do. The nearest copy according to their super-techno-stock thing is an hour's drive from here, so I ordered a copy off their website and will report back if'n it arrives.

    I'm excited about Akkanvader (Space Invaders '95), though! A friend had it on a MAME cab he built and I recall playing it quite a bit back in the day. But I never thought I would get the chance to buy a legitimate copy.

    As to the question about Bub and Bob, the PC and XBOX versions of this disc include BUBBLE SYMPHONY, which is some kind of remake of Bubble Bobble I guess.

    I already ordered the PS2 version online, since I didn't want to risk missing out, but now I wish I hadn't.

    There was one in the UK... but I think we're getting screwed because of the 360's dominance.

    Are any XB games still coming out? I'm kind of annoyed that system got kicked to the curb so fast.

    Yeah, I don't think any games are being released for it at all. I'm sure the state of the 360 BC hasn't helped in that regard. So they released 2 collections for the Xbox in the UK? I got the first one for it here in the US, but I was really looking forward to getting the second one to play Cadash, since it was one of the unique ones supposed to be on the Xbox version. This is a bummer . . :|

    Had it for Xbox and traded it in (from Game UK)
    Didn't seem to have as many quality titles as the first one and I bought it mainly for Rastan 2, which the nostalgia value didn't last very long.

    So, I've read in a couple of places that the UK Taito Legends 2 will work just fine if you play it in a US Xbox. Anyone know of an online store that will export UK games to the US?

    Now that is good news.

    I want the XB one for the other Ray game, and playing Cadash would be nice, to see what all the hype's about.

    And on Rastan 2: I'll never forget that game.

    I once lent the Genesis version to someone in elementary school, and didn't get it back for five months in return for Alex Kidd.

    I was almost obsessed with getting it back.

    When I finally did, I realized Alex Kidd was, in fact, better, and I should've kept it.

    Where the hell is this. For the PS2. I've also only seen it on EB online. The first was easy to get.

    Not sure if anyone noticed, but there is an impossible-to-Google website with lists of games and--supposedly--the UK versions for sale still. However, in the US Gamestop has some kind of exclusive distribution deal for the American version. It seems like only the "major" stores of that chain have physical copies right now, but more are on the way.

    I've been playing Darius Gaiden, then G Darius.

    The hype is deserved. :^: G Darius is amazing.

    One of the most intense horizontal shmups I've ever played.

    Elevator Action II: meh, kind of disappointing.

    Fairy Land Story: Bubble Bobble, without the fun.

    Ray Storm: Excellent

    PuchiCarat: Arkanoid + Bust A Move = win.

    Legend of Kage: EVIL. One hit deaths, no continues.

    #1 doesn't have much of anything. Bubble Bubble, Operation Wolf, and about twenty others. Nothing I'm in a hurry to get.

    I have it but it wasn't, uh, with me to check. I recall there being a few fun little games on it. Something about bouncing animals on trampolines. Liked that one.

    Violence Fight is sooo whack. Are there moves? Or just a bunch of crappy punching/kicking. There are some total stinkers on here. Arabian Magic? Geez.
