Games that let you choose your character already have mostly neutral dialogue just because it saves on rerecording lines. I am assuming that most people will just call you "V" in most situations, or "you" when talking directly to you. It's pretty easy to do without making it feel stilted even.
Hopefully they'll call me, "hey, asshole"!
It's the future, I'm sure they have some trendy new curses to address you by
Hopefully the body types won't just be Huge Tits McGee, a twink, and an extremely jacked guy.
I want to be jacked and have huge tits.
If your game doesn't let me be a fat woman ala Saint's Row 3 you're a coward. Seriously though, why is this so rare? Also chubby dudes are somewhat common, but I wanna be a morbidly obese person in games.

Perhaps, but I'm a huge fan of the classics

things like this make me think we've already reached the inflection point of bots being so pervasive that the algorithms actually think bot views are the legitimate ones and authentic views the fake ones
and so now videos like that are made specifically so that bots will watch them and we're just discovering them as an after thought
algorithms making content for algorithms, all the way down

I've been eyeing Star Traders: Frontiers for the past few days. What are some of your thoughts?
i got it over the winter and played for just a couple hours. it seems like potentially a really cool game with a presentation (a kind of bloopy Flash-animation paper doll aesthetic) that didn't grab me so I didn't investigate further, but I kind of feel guilty about not investigating further because it seems like there's a ton of potentially fun, fiddly depth in there. it has a vibe very much like if someone made a PC game of Traveller, the sci-fi RPG, and I know a few people on another forum who are really into it, so it clearly does something right
So I haven't paid any attention to the Creation Club stuff in Fallout 4 or Skyrim at all, because it's the Creation Club. I knew there were some weapons with short quests, new armor and building tools and such, etc.
I had no idea that there were full quests and stories called Adventures, and in the next update F4 is getting a new adventure where you go back to the Capital Wasteland.
Skyrim is also getting 2 adventures, one where you hunt down the weapon of Cyrus, the player character from TES Adventures: Redguard, and the second where you have to stop a sorcerer from opening a portal to the Shivering Isles, with a new dungeon with new enemies, weapons, and armor.
I didn't know there were basically small DLCs in the Creation Club, I thought it was all pretty much throwaway stuff.
EDIT: wow grammar

If they had started with announcing that, the reaction to Creation Club would have been a lot more positive!
The Town is doomed. As a doctor trying to curb an epidemic, you've lost. But what if Death knocked on your door and offered a chance to do it all again? Would you still struggle, or accept your fate? Make the choice in Pathologic: The Marble Nest, a two-hour spin-off of Pathologic 2.
Once again I screwed up and didn't pause my Humble Monthly. You can be the beneficiary of this error by clicking this box to receive a gift link for Slay the Spire

I wouldn't be surprised if this is wrong in this instance because it's CDPR. The amount of quality side dialogue in Witcher 3 is insane.

I'd put money on this being a new Outbreak
September 20!
Bigger than before!
I think it's an absurdist take on those videos of the guy "fixing" tables with ramen noodles? If it's not that, then I...really don't know

This will be playable at PAX West this weekend, coming out later this year. Supposedly this is an expanded and polished version of Pathologic 2's original demo from 2017: https://steamcommunity.com/games/505230/announcements/detail/501428497065310314

Aug 30 - Decay of Logos (Zelda-like, RPG, adventure)
Aug 29 - The Dark Pictures Anthology - Man of Medan (horror, co-op, narrative)
Looks like I'll finally have to download the Epic game store.
Black Skylands, a top-down RPG with skyships
Secret Neighbor, a co-op multiplayer horror game
Foregone - "Foregone is a combat-focused action-platformer that combines the challenging gameplay of Diablo and Dark Souls with fluid pixel animation popularized by Dead Cells. "
Stronghold: Warlords, a management/strategy title
Stela - INSIDE-like, "a cinematic, atmospheric platformer about a young woman witnessing the final days of a mysterious ancient world."
Rawmen - a splatoon-like multiplayer game with nudel-men
Space Cows - "a cheesy twin-stick shooter featuring weaponized toilet plunger and intense zero gravity combat."
Prehistoric Kingdom - a Jurassic Park-inspired tycoon game
Once Upon A Time In Roswell - "is a first-person psychological horror game that chronicles the story of the families disappearance in 1947 in Roswell, USA."

Dune Sea - Titled Goose Game
Going Under - "is a dystopian dungeon crawler about exploring the cursed ruins of failed tech startups"
Black Skylands also looks cool.
yeah when I saw it I assumed it was Motion Twin's new game
but I'm down for something that looks kinda like dead cells but has a more Diablo approach to loot, and maybe isn't quite as punishing as Dead Cells
Agreed, videogames need to take a few years off so I can actually play them
It says it's inspired by Dark Souls so I'm not sure if it'll be easier, but...
