"Request desktop site" doesn't work

On iOS Safari...
if I tap Safari's "request desktop site" button...
I get an error message...
There is an easy workaround (tapping the Penny Arcade menu button, then "full site" works fine), but still thought it might be worth reporting. (Using Safari's built in "request desktop site" button is pretty ingrained in my muscle memory, so I keep bumping up against this problem.)
Perhaps it's also worth noting that the "full site" preference doesn't seem to last very long, and the site reverts back to the mobile version pretty frequently.
