Hmm, I mean fries are basically potatoes, and I've had potatoes in all of those except peas (because just why), but I think I'd select fries and curry. Flavor.

Yeah, UK loves their mushy peas.

    Save the cheese fries.

e: The fries are too thick though. And the cheese isn't melted like it should be.

I don't really like that guy. Something about his whole thing just annoys me.

I have felt the same way and I think I've figured it out.

He has this authoritive air and talks about food as "good" or "bad" but never actually seems to enjoy any of the food he shows.

He acts like he's giving the food an exam instead of consuming it for enjoyment and having a good time. And of course he acts like all the food he makes deserves an A plus.

    Curry fries are fuckin' legit.

There's an Irish pub in South Bend, IN that I used to visit fairly frequently that did fries with curry and it was always an amazing thing to eat on a cold day (or any day).

    Unfortunately yes, that's withdrawal

  • jgeisjgeis Registered User regular
Yeah, you're likely withdrawing from large amounts of caffeine and/or sugar (depending on your soda preferences) and your body fucking hates that.

I have never been able to figure out what benefit you get from not consuming caffeine.

    Perhaps you'll enlighten me.

However, all are the poor choice.

The correct topping for proper chip shop chips is loads of salt and vinegar.

My dad works a seafood counter in Colorado. The sheer amount of people who don't understand that the fish can only be so fresh because they arrived from the coast blocked in ice, and not via some kind of transporter device, would make you weep for the future of the species

That all said, the sugar in soda is so much worse for you than the caffeine.

Also the blood pressure thing is on pretty thin ice at the moment as newer studies fail to confirm it (ditto for sodium, actually), and recent research suggests that people who consume two or more cups of coffee a day have lower incidence of heart disease.

Basically drink more coffee, is what I'm saying.

When I was in Oxford there was a food cart that would do chips and cheese and a genuinely outstanding garlic sauce and I think about it more often than I care to admit and now I'm sad.
