What you need to know::

Where: Transport hotel at Federation Square
When: Thursday 10th, tomorrow, or perhaps today.
Twitter: #paxbeer so you can find us as the night progresses.

Traditionally this has been a very safe and friendly meet up of a bunch of like minded peeps.
Gamers of all walks of life having a brewski or two and just hanging out.
Come on down and meet some people if you're on your own at Pax this year!
Its super weird when you see them wandering round looking lost a day or two later.
Just look for the nerdy T-shirts. badges, handheld games and beards.
Lanyards, and last years badges are a dead giveaway.
Itinerary:
7:00 - 8:30 - Transport (Fed Square) as its nice and central to public transport.
8:30 - An unnamed drinking establishment, let the peeps decide.
9:30 - Bartronica !!! it is awesome you will love it.
All welcome, post here and let us know if you are coming.
I've organised this for the last few years, but I cant attend Pax this year, however I'll do my best to come for a drink.

If for some reason Beta bar (now closed) were to do a local cbd event we should so do that, but it's more keeping an ear out for what local things are happening.

I'm in by lunchtime, and I think I'll see Joker to pass some time
I'm packing at the moment, feeling a bit unprepared.
Don't feel scared or obligated to have alcohol either - there's some light food and soft drinks afaik from at least transport.
It's looking to be OK weather, with low to no chance of rain from 7pm. It will be 13 degrees and dropping though so prepare for that. Having said that the places indoors are nice and warm (even transport at the outdoors part has nice toasty gas heaters), it's just when are inbetween places so should be fine!
Will I bring my LED backpack again?
Will anyone top the wine guys story?
Will we have thoughts on cool places to check out?
