Yeah, I think Page can be good/a main eventer/world champ material one day. As is right now though, his performances aren't good enough and he consistently hasn't been able to keep the 20+ minute matches he keeps getting put in interesting throughout. He needs more time and work. This was the right call imo
PAC/Page was teased at the post-show. Between that and Moxley being the next person on the "Kenny can't win outside of Japan" tour, there's spots being filled

This sucks. There had been rumors for a bit that the radio silence with Kylie was she was thinking about being done with wrestling, looks like it's true. Tremendous loss for the business
I was at NJPW Royal Quest last night, and it was a fantastic show. all the matches were great.
One of the highlights being the GoD vs Aussie Open match. Both teams were super over and there was a solid 5 minutes of dueling 'GoD/Aussie Open' chants tearing the roof of the building before a punch was thrown, and the crowd pretty much did not stop yelling the entire match.
Okada and Suzuki had a great 35 minute match to.
If you get a chance check out the show do it!
I don't know who threw that "he hit him with a bicycle" line out during the Cody match but amazing.

The stellar main event for Takeover Cardiff highlights one thing that NXT doesn't really offer: David vs Goliath matches. There is a good reason to have a big man circling around the main event scene, and it's because matches between people of disparate size have a storyline built right into them from the start: how does the smaller guy beat the hulking brute?
Although I can wager a guess why big men don't hang out in NXT long after they get near the main event: Vince snaps them right up into the main roster. Which is a bummer, because as good as the NXT main events have been for awhile now, the fact that it's constantly between two guys of very similar size and wrestling style is starting to make things a bit samey. Contrast that with Bate vs Walter, which elevated both guys by making Walter look double scary and making Bate look like the ultimate never-say-die babyface badass.
Also of note about Bate v Walter: an actual modern wrestling crowd rabidly cheering the face and rabidly booing the heel. For 40+ minutes. Well done, Cardiff; you made a great match better.
Stuff like that just confirms what a good decision it was to put the belt on him. Whoever takes that belt off him after about 6 months is gonna be made.
