Here is my dumb fantasy booking idea, tell me if you like it.
I think WWE should try to capitalize on the all of the anti-WWE, pro AEW sentinement, and do another invasion angle. In general, it seems like if the invaders are made to look actually powerful and intimidating, and the angle is given time to breathe, then those are some of the most memorable angles that ever happen.
The twist this time, is that the 'invaders' are the good guys.
Essentially, I think that the 'invaders' should be some of the faces of the WWE card overlooked, underbooked guys like Cesaro, Rusev, Ali, etc. They should be the type of people who can fit into that Kofi spot from last Wrestlemania. What they will be doing this time, is actually trying to take over control of the WWE in order to get more 'opportunity' and 'workers rights' and shit. They could set it up like a labor battle against management, an uprising or revolution, where the real result of it would be that they would be put in charge of what happens with the WWE. A little bit like the occupy RAW from Daniel Bryan's peak. There could even be mini angles, where the faces all strike for a few weeks, and WWE has to run with only the corporate scabs, while the faces set up little Being the Elite type stuff outside of the typical WWE pipeline.
This all culminates in the top face fighting (Daniel Bryan seems best, honestly), fighting against HHH, or top McMahon scab (Cena would be best, but obvs they wouldn't turn him heel like that) at Wrestlemania, with control of the company on the line. This time the faces actually win, and in kayfabe, the wrestlers book according to what all the internet smarks want, and things look so glorious for a while.
However, that's when the WWE turns that shit into like an animal farm double allegory. The top face (again, Bryan, since he can be heel), shows that his workers rights, kumbaya, commie love party is all bullshit as he gets progressively more and more corrupt. He puts is crony friends in all of the good positions, and has people that he doesn't like stamped down like the McMahon's used to do. Oh no, we learn, this collectivist action is all doomed due to the inherent corruption of unions! It turns out the McMahon's were a necessary evil all along! The, bootstrapping, opportunistic, meritocracists form their own faction to fight back against Bryan's commie bullshit, eventually winning, and returning company control back to where it belongs. Proving that capitalism is always right, milennials and zoomers need to quit crying and work harder, and the McMahon's deserve all of their wealth through their sheer gumption.
So, WWE gets a bad ass invasion angle that feels like it has real relevance and stakes, the audience gets to see some shit they always wanted, and the McMahon's get to make a whole massive angle re-arguining their shitty regressive politics and policies. Seems like they would love it! Seems like it might be fun (if very shitty and annoying, like it always is when WWE shows its real priorities). What do you guys think?
I do not like it because WWE making a storyline about how horrible they treat their employees while also not changing how they treat their employees (which ain't happening anytime soon) would bum me the hell out.
Like, making Daniel Bryan trying to unionize talent a story beat just makes me so tired

Hahaha yeah. I def think that some major problems with the idea is that WWE definitely does not want to lampshade it's poor employment practices, and after they pulled the bait and switch on their fans of "you're finally getting what you want. Yay!" to "What you wanted was always stupid, now go sit in your corner you little shit" would probably really leave a bad taste in many of their fan's mouths. Better to just act like they don't know what people want.
Still, I feel like there has to be some way for them to take the antipathy people feel and make a storyline out of it. Both Bryan and Kofi angles were like that, and they were gold.
We are debating on driving down to Garland, TX for a show in December but holding out to see if they stop by OKC while they're in the area
they won’t
Why must you hurt me

WALTER v Smaller Mega-Skilled Guy Who Fights His Damn Heart Out is quickly becoming one of my favorite match types. KUSHIDA looked like such a star.
NXT really really needed a Big Top of the Card Guy, because the top of the card in NXT has had too much physical homogeneity for too long. Gotta get that physical diversity in to shake things up. What I'm saying is "time to elevate Keith Lee".
Chris Jericho defends the world title against Darby Allin
Riho defends the women's title against Britt Baker
Lucha Bros vs Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) in the first round of the tag title tournament
Best Friends vs SCU (Daniels and Kaz) in the first round of the tag title tournament
and now Kenny Omega and Hangman Page vs PAC and Jon Moxley
I'd feel pretty comfortable paying PPV money for this card if it had been the Full Gear card
I'd say I'm so happy but I'd be even happier if they gave my boy Luchasaurus a TV win
That is an absolutely stacked card. Boy, do I hope they get a mainstream streaming situation worked out for cord cutters at some point soon.
Yeah, I've spent a while today looking up any affordable way to get TNT streaming, and $25 is the cheapest I can find. Unless I want to watch it on my phone for $15. If only I could get a Dailymotion app on my TV...

You’ve got it mixed up, they aren’t alternating. Each draft segment is 5 picks that go R-S-R-S-R. Raw being a 3 hour show gets more people.
Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch
Roman Reigns
The O.C. (United States Champion AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson)
"The Fiend" Bray Wyatt
Drew McIntyre
Randy Orton
Sasha Banks
Ricochet
Braun Strowman
Bobby Lashley
Does Becky just defend her title against Lacey Evans now? Or maybe Asuka or Shirai? Or will they being up one of the new girls who got signed up to Raw?
Becky's looking like she's going to hold on to that title for a while
11. Bliss R
12. Lacey S
13. KO R
14. Revival S
15. Natty R
Changes to the pool were "splitting up Alexa and Nikki but keeping one in the same spot" and "swapping out Owens for Viking Raiders", everything else the same
CMLL's doing a thing. Half the card's a mystery due to a tournament and also who knows how many of these people will still be on the roster in a month due to Rush/Dragon Lee aftermath. Fun!
Real talk, go and watch Bayley/Charlotte from tonight’s Smackdown. It’s as dramatic a transformation of a wrestling character that I’ve seen since Crow Sting.

I need to know when they play the Guardians and/or Defenders. If it's locally I'll buy tickets, right now I'm just not into season tickets
