Humble is telling me my current pause becomes active again on 9/6/19 and is telling me "you're skipping the September 2019 bundle," which is what I wanted (unlike last month, when I forgot to pause).
So be prepared, y'all. You'll be charged either this Friday or next week.
And for anyone curious or on the fence, the current teased games are Slay the Spire (a very well received game here) and SQUAD (which is in early access but I don't know anything about). Slay the Spire, alone, is worth $12 without even having to think about it.
Yeah but wouldn't it be more fun to have your friends help you with it?
True friends would let me succeed in whittling down my backlog a little bit =p.
I just finished Bard's Tale 4, let me get a few other victories under my belt!
It's a fantastic rally sim! I still need to pick up Dirt Rally 2 at some point. But yeah, everyone should get on that. Also has VR support, if you have a VR headset and wanna race. One of the better racing VR games if I recall correctly.
Noita will be coming to Steam Early Access on September 24th.
If you havent heard of it, Noita is a 2D game where every pixel is simulated. So lava melts stuff, acid melts stuff, and fire burns stuff (then also melts the stuff)
The PC version is mostly a mix of games that also show up in bundles/free on EPG/Twitch Prime, but there are 3 notable things:
1. This offer runs into the release of Gears 5 and The Outer Worlds (Both October)
2. It contains a few MS exclusives, like Forza Horizon, Sea of Thieves, Master Chief collection, Crackdown 3 and Gears 1/4
3. There are a few newer "midtier" games on there. Things that catch my eye are Void Bastards, Prey, Metro Exodus.
3 months to try 100 games for $5.
quoting myself, since I forgot about this. And I posted it 2 weeks ago! There's 5 days left for a lot of budget gaming.
Has anyone played Battlestar Galactica Deadlock and can provide a trip report? I've had it wishlisted for a while and just got an email that it's on sale, but my backlog is... so, so big.

I'm trying really hard not to jump on this (and also the Gamepass code sitting in my email from Microcenter) because I'm sinking all my gaming time into Crosscode and Battletech (and loving every Goddamn minute).

Humble Store are doing a build-your-own bundle on some Bandai Namco games, where you get a bigger discount for 3-5 games. If there's one expensive thing you want, it might be worth putting in some of the cheap scraps as well and see how it affects the discount. I just wanted Soulcalibur VI, so I put in the four cheapest things as well and it was almost a third cheaper than buying SCVI on its own.

I really hope Blizzard announces Diablo IV this year.
Probably. They've been at it for a while now and they likely intend to get some good will back from the community after the Diablo Immortal announcement

It's less about fan goodwill and more that the Blizzard culture of "Release it when it's great or don't release it at all" is dead, and Activision has said they're turning Blizzard into a Diablo/Overwatch farm, pumping out sequels and exploiting those IPs as much as possible to make money, so you'll get Diablo 4 eventually whether you like it or not.
Diablo IV? What's wrong with Diablo Immortal? Don't you guys have phones trololololololol?
Anyway I fired up the Xbox Game Pass deal (3 months for $5) and I've noticed insane load times and unskippable intros everywhere. I don't know if that's a UWP specific thing or whatever, but it really makes me happy that Steam lets you set launch options for games. That's usually one of the quickest ways to eliminate intros so you don't have to sit through the same sixty seconds of bullshit company logos every time you want to start a game.

Thanks for Halloween Forever, just in time for spooky times! :heartbeat:
You can grab Dirt Rally for free (Steam key) on the Humble Store:

I did not expect a new RE Outbreak. Weird!
Also, another level down in Mysteries of the Sith. Hopefully the great mouse will sanction more stabbed in a back alley type games.

4 weeks away? Plenty of time for Epic to buy them out first.
I cannot hear you!

More like Operation Raccoon City: 2.
That' worse! I think! Haven't really kept up with the RE multiplayer games
Surely they learned their lesson, right? Like, that game bombed worse than many I can think of.

Did someone say Umbrella Corps remake?
CorriganX on Steam and just about everywhere else.
Probably. They've been at it for a while now and they likely intend to get some good will back from the community after the Diablo Immortal announcement
If they do, you'll be able to inject it right into your veins!!!

Good to know!
It is a very underserved niche market
