in the slaanesh army book it talks about how Teclis is gathering his forces for the coming fight so I am very curious what they are
Between DoK, the Idoneth book, and the lore in the 2nd ed. Core Rules for AoS, we have a rough idea about both the light and shadow elves.
The Light elves from Hysh are angelic and winged, and the shadow elves from Ulgu have devil tails and stuff.
I think the Dok hang out in Ulgu or at least a part of it it's understandable with the Khinerai
It's been states outright that her daughters are different than Malerion's.
Her males are almost entirely weak withered.
Just it's the vague description of Malerion's elves I am curious about since in the core rules it mentions he made monsters that he concealed in the shadowy mists
I know the rumor the Satyr elves are made from the parts of Kurnous body? when he died in the old world
Just in general I know as my brother will say it was perennial how with Warhammer a new edition and a new army book for the High elves
Just other than the DoK and eels nothing more has been said about the elves other than vague rumors

I'm trying to come up with a name for my own Ossiarch faction, the ones with the red bones. I'm thinking of going full on fake name and calling them Hakiksos Ensirex, that sound Age of Sigmar-y?

Those names definitely sound Ossiarch-y, but for me to feel that AoS flavor there's gotta be at least one word that's english, even if it's a ridiculous mash-up of several worlds. Like Skelleryx Femureavers or Cocyxus Spinelords.

Should I keep it to a two word sort of thing? Like Ensirex Scapulords? Or how about Hakiksos Phalensirex?

Yeah, two words is a good rule of thumb, ideally five syllables total. Like boneblitz legion, or scapulex blightlords. Rolls off the tongue better.

Haemostyx Plutarchs? Or maybe just Haemostyx Phalanx.

Phalanx is better, I think, for the overall “professional army” theme of the bonereapers, assuming you’re not doing a splinter/breakaway/rebel force?

I am going breakaway with their lore, because fuck Nagash.

I was thinking that the 5th Phalanx or 5th Legion might be another name for them, as a bit of a joke. Hakiksos Ensirex will probably just be the name of its commander.

I suppose, given its connotations here in the US. It is a fairly common expression though.

Oh that’s pretty clever. I’d roll with it.
A Capellan's favorite sheath for any blade is your back.
Oh geeze, I thought it was a joke about phalanx bones (the long bones in your hands and feet).
That is one reason why I liked the phalanx name... uh I mean it was that too. It's a multilayered reference!

I think the leaked shipping form (which has been accurate so far) had the Slaves release on the 14th of December? So yes, that seems a reasonably sure chance, I'm quite interested to see how they handle marks in the new tome, once I'm done painting way too many deamonettes I could see myself dipping into something a little chunkier.
The previews made it sound, to me, like they’ll work the same as they currently do.
You can Mark most of the StD minis and thus use them in a God specific allegiance, or go all in and run pure StD.
My battleline for example is 2 units of Chaos Warriors and a blob of Tzaangors.
Being able to switch between a Tzeentch and a StD allegiance will be great fun for me, especially if the new Tzeentch book cleans up some of the wonky-ass units
I just hope the release of the Warcry Warbands as bigger units means that they can be taken as Battleline units.
I want me some Spire Tyrants to mix with the Start Collecting. Throw in Darkoath Warqueen, Darkoath Chieftain, and Theddra and the Godsworn and I think you have a nice looking Chaos army.
I love all the Corvus dudes except the one on stilts. Just like i love all the Splintered Fang except Serpentor. Spire Tyrants are the first warband from Warcry that I love all the models.

I liked that it's not a 100% unified front, the Crematorians seemed rather unhappy that their lot in un-life is to blow up.
Gotta try to finish building the box in the next few weeks

You should call them the onions. Or the ogres.
…that might get confusing.

I'm hoping they do something fun with the Warcry warbands as well, right now they're pretty bleh.

Sounds more like a specialised Ogor clan
