I'm really enjoying it, but holy hell is it demoralizing.
I was expecting the show to continue the illusion that Homelander is actually one of the good guys for more than 3/4 of an episode, but they were telegraphic pretty hard that he was the baddest of the bunch.
Simon pegg without his accent is genuinely offputting to me.
Dark is definitely getting good. Also the casting is incredible, I wonder how long it took them to match everyone up.
I burned through season 1 over the weekend, and the casting consistently impressed me.
I'm glad the dubbing did not though. I haven't really spoken German in over 20 years, aside from a few days in Germany almost that far back, and it's been a pleasant surprise how quickly it's been coming back to me with the original audio playing.

I’m Sorry is such a fucking great show
the writing and plots and everything are hilarious sure, but I could watch solid hours of Andrea Savage and Tom Everett Scott being married. Their chemistry is off the charts.

It's sad how rare and fresh "Dude is delighted by his wife" feels

this is one of the things that made Game Night work so well for me

The whole "trying to spice things up in the bed room" scene in I'm Sorry just broke me.
Andreas delivery of, "Well thank you for trying to rape me," with Everett Scott's just horrified expression made me lose it.

He isn't ugly, but I have often wondered if Emile Hirch could put on the kind of muscle needed for the role. It's kind of an out of the box casting but I like him as an actor and he is only like 5'5" or 5'6"?
Please have Gov. Zack Morris use the time-out in like, high stakes political negotiation in order to manipulate government and slowly ascend to the presidency through the use of his time powers.

Fuck, I'm so glad I wasn't the only person to immediately think of the zach Morris time out.

I was pretty not-interested in NBC's streaming service but then AMBER RUFFIN IS GETTING HER OWN SHOW

But his Hercules is a lot of fun.
Even if he gets cancelled he’ll be fine. He doesn’t need anything. Except this ashtray, paddle game, remote control, matches, lamp, and chair.

Yes! This was like the first thing I mentioned after I watched season 1.
You see a kid actor in the past and immediately know which adult they're supposed to be, it's fucking uncanny.
Urban looks so much like a pissed off Wolverine that I actually gasped.

they could do worse than Karl Urban
I'm also Canadian, if that helps.

And not that long ago. His book is tremendous and that was, like, two years ago.
@Olivaw she is so drunk that she can barely stand.

It's called Peacock.
The Office and SNL will be on it, movies from partners like Universal and reboots of Saved By the Bell and Battlestar Galactica.
Saved By the Bell has Zach Morris as governor of California.
And BSG is being done by Homecoming and Mr. Robot's Sam Esmail.
Hadn't heard that, but I guess at this point who isn't? Man I hate Hollywood.
Everything about that blurb is crazy
Birds of a feather, etc etc
Screech haunts the halls. You never see him but he's there
Because it hasn't been that long
The series finale was a decade ago, and the final spinoff of the show aired 6 years ago
