It's an interesting move that could have been coordinated between both infidel and tehspectre to go forward like this. On one hand, voting for one or the other, as it's been mentioned, could mean anything as to whether the person is against them or trying to make people think they are the other faction.

On the other hand, it's that fact alone that might allow them to create some small networks, a possibility the zodiacs might not be able to risk happen.

It's a toss up really. I would personally advise specials against going forward as has been said because we don't know what those two know. They might each have an item that gives them confidence they will come out of this alive or have positive results.

We still have plenty of time before voting ends, so I don't see a reason to vote just yet.

We could just assume the ninjas or zodiacs will take care of those two and perhaps revisit if they still live in a day or two.

It's possible that they're offering themselves up as pawns to force people to show their own allegiances.

They could each be on the opposite side, or both sides. I'd say it's best to see how the first night plays out before siding with either of their claims(assuming they aren't both killed outright).

Here's how I have the vote counts:
    TehSpectre - 6
    Infidel - 4
    Rygar - 1
    Balefuego - 1
    robothero - 1
    cj iwakura - 1
    zerinan - 1
    Buzz Buzz - 1
    Shamus - 1

There's a few indicators of family ties in the voting record, but it's just as possible they're voting for them out of suspicion. I think it's the inactives we need to worry about, and there's quite a few.

What those two did probably gave us all some information on the people who started voting for one or the other quickly. That's probably something they expected. It's most likely going to be useful information, but it's nothing we can act on just yet. The oracles should start working on building their networks. Be careful oracles of who you trust, just about anyone would be happy to use your services, but once you die, your side is at a pretty good loss.

EDIT: So much negativity going on. I think we should be positive. For example, I think Mazlo's sig is awesome and B:L roleplaying the chocobo is very cool to name but a few. Folks willing to put some time and effort into putting this into character deserve some kudos for sure. Cheer up!*

*If this is getting corny or stupid, I can shut up.

I !retract my vote on Balefuego.

I am going to !vote on Inquistor in the interest of not having the game melt into a camped fight on night one. I suggest very much so that we begin bandwagoning before this becomes a math game and not a political game.

    It seems I overestimated.

    There are three inactive nobles.

One's absence is justified, as Locus has not been seen for two days.

The others have been active elsewhere in the region, and have not yet contributed to the council, and so Thorgot and Tofu should be watched carefully.

And one who would organize a faction gathered under the banner of Death, much less a dog of the Church, should not attempt to comprehend affairs beyond his understanding.

I love how two ( I think) people have voted to bandwagon me, over people that haven't posted at all. And you guys wonder why sometimes the games are inactive, if you are going to punish the talkative people over the silent ones, no wonder why some people try to scrape by on the minimum amount of posts.

I believe that Sunday, historically, has been a very slow Phalla day, so it is hard to judge activity based on this day alone.

Especially on, as it were, a two day 'day'. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the three inactives in question were simply biding their time before posting. It's easily within the realm of plausibility, especially when the three in question are Thorgot, Tofu, and Locus.

We need more people to jump on this Inquistor bandwagon or this is going to degenerate fast.

I have nothing against the mimic, though I do think that votes against both outed family members seem worthless. Odds are high one if not both'll be dead on the second day.

Where did either claim to be family members? They've claimed to be loyal to a certain prince but not family as far as I know. If they were family it might at least make some fucking sense.

No, that was actually a reference to me being all bewildered and "I totally know what's going on" by turns in the last dead thread. Not trying to pick on you.

Now saying that this is an obvious ploy to thrust your unverified self into the thick of things and garner as much intel quickly as you can in a game you went into expecting to die early in...I guess that might be picking on you...but really the fact that it's working is really saying something about everybody else.
