As far as the framerate in Link's Awakening goes, I just got done playing Control, which is pretty rough on that front even on a PS4 Pro, so Link's Awakening's fps seems perfect by comparison

it's also borderline unplayable by modern standards, extremely blandly designed and should only be played for historical curiosity (or nostalgic affection)

DK64 at least has this kind of interesting train wreck quality to it that I enjoy
Mario 64 is such a FLAT game for me. The art direction is bland, it doesn't have a ton of character
It feels empty to me other than some very high highs, admittedly.
