I also think you could condense every Advance Wars commander into one character, it would be nice to have some guys and gals of different ages and nationalities in.
I’m trying to think of who makes for a good intro of stomping Sephiroth... Does seem like something DOOMguy could pull off… but it might be funnier if it’s say, Mayor Pauline from the Mario series.

I'd say PoP is still a big deal. Not so much on Nintendo platforms, but Sands of Time brought that franchise back with a vengeance, and (along with Max Payne) helped make time manipulation mechanics a big thing for games. It's been a while (edit: apparently a decade) since the last big release, but it's not like you've got to reach back to the early-mid 90's like some of those others.

I don't think that really says much of anything. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like "You might not guess it", which... yeah, that would be true for basically any character? It's gonna be a surprise to someone, and there isn't a single character out there that everyone knows.

Well shit, that's something I didn't know I wanted but now absolutely want.
Her ult is just dropping different landmarks on enemies. Sometimes it's the Eiffel Tower, other times it's the Sphinx.
