Hmm... so at least now we know why Ult. Colossus was way stronger than 616 Colossus...
Spoiler for those of us without the comic?
His mutant power is turning metal, not super strength. When he turned metal, he could barely lift his arms. So to overcome this he's been using Banshee, which is basically the Ultimate Version of MGH, ever since he joined the mafia. That's where he got his super strength.

And now all the cool kids are doing it and feeling great, but at what cost?

Yes it is VERY GOOD. I think there's only been one flashback reference in the whole thing that I didn't understand. Plus I loved seeing Exodus get a psychic beatdown.
Legacy is now like some wonderful I Spy book of X-Men forgotten continuity for long-term fans. Ooo look there's Carter Ryking, there's the time Xavier turned into a Brood, etc. It's great, though I don't know how much fun it is for someone who hasn't been reading it for very long.
I like that Armor seems more independently tough (whereas Kitty, at first, was just naive and Jubilee was absurdly egotistical). Armor is the sort of young protege that is appropriate to Logan, whereas the others only "worked" because of the humor of it.
I'm not enjoying any of this Divided We Stand stuff too much; IMO the X-titles have really fumbled the ball after Messiah Complex. They canceled New X-Men for no good reason, started X-Force and Young X-Men, both of which we could do without, and Uncanny feels boring and aimless somehow despite the fact that Wolvie, Nightcrawler and Colossus are supposedly in mortal danger. It's a shame because it seemed like they were really starting to get good again for a while.
I have such mixed feelings on Legacy-- on the one hand, Carey is a great writer, you can count on him to write coherent and intelligent stories. However, this is like a Prof X. solo book, and I just don't see the appeal of it. Continuity is a resource, but this book seems like it's just mining continuity for the sake of mining continuity, and it's like a masturbatory exercise.
A lot of people have been saying that YXM will be vindicated if it turns out that this is all a big misdirection, and Cyclops is an imposter. I agree that's the only way that this series is going to make an ounce of sense, but that won't make the issues that have seen print so far look good in retrospect. The characters still come off as mostly unlikable, easily manipulated, and stupid.
X-Force seems to be really done, I just dislike the concept of the book to begin with-- an X-Men black ops team? Anyone remember that classic Claremont-era issue where Wolverine stabbed Rachel Summers to stop her from killing Selene, because he'd sooner kill his teammates than see them become assassins? The writing and art could be stellar, this book still has a flawed premise to me.
but the whole point of the book is that the X-Men have changed since then, new leadership, new world, new mission statement.
Plus Wolverine is still in character in the book, he absolutley does not like being saddled with the team. He says he'll do whatever dirty work Scott wants but he wants to leave the others out of it.

New mission statement: Our moral leadership is made of pure fail.

So Wolverine is Scott's bitch now?
I won't continue harping on this book, obviously it's just not for me.

Why? Did Daniel Way turn Logan gay?
Anyway, she's effectively asexual given how fucked up her head is.

Then again, I really hate the writers so that's not a surprise. Also I hate the art.
Haven't actually read the book myself.
