Nicolas Cage is gonna be in a movie about a truffle hunter whose truffle sniffin pig is kidnapped so he has to go to Portland to find his pig and I guess its basically gonna be John Wick but with a pig.

Rorshach's monkey's paw curls all the fingers at once.
yeah see you hear "John Wick with Nic Cage and Pig," I hear "Adaptation but with truffles."
God I HOPE this movie is as weird as Adaptation.

Really enjoyed Ad Astra, in no small part I think due to seeing it in a screen with only a single other person present. Special shout out to the soundtrack which was pretty much spot on. Star of the show is that opening sequence though, absolutely fantastic.
As for the film being a melancholy look at not having to live up to your Fathers' expectations with a slice of something resembling a dementia analogue it was surprisingly uplifting at the end. I do get the complaints about other characters not really having much to do but the almost claustrophobic focus on Pitt worked for me in spades.
Between Two Ferns is kind of a nothing movie, but it certainly has its moments
it kind of illustrates how one-note that entire series was when you show a bunch of them in a row, he says something rude, they say he's fat, he says another rude thing
I think the biggest bummer is Scott Aukerman's directing is the worst part, it's shot in an obnoxious handheld style that really adds nothing
based on that recent autobiographical movie he made where he plays his dad it seems like shia lebouf had a pretty fucked up childhood and its kind of a miracle he isnt worse. Altho im not super up to date on all the shit hes done
Hey do you have some context for this? Because man, that really sucks if it’s true, but I can’t seem to find anything on it?
It was a few lines in a long form interview where he talked about his enthusiasm for it and that he had memorized several "approaches". It was a few years ago, I can't remember the publication I'm afraid. Maybe he's grown out of it!
i dont think pick up artists are even pick up artists any more. it kind of mutated into full blown mras or more overtly anti-women stuff or people grew out of it. All the major players have either disavowed the whole thing or morphed into their final MRA forms and sworn off women as pure evil, becoming altright anti-feminist nazis of one slice or another
i am super interested to learn that it's possible to get a counterintuitive "actually, it's good" take out of the hellboy movie. definitely going on my list

there are levels as to why Rorshach Kringle might find a truffle pig entirely relatable

But they use dogs to look for truffles. Pigs tend to eat them

I’m definitely not watching this trailer cause I’m just gonna see the movie, but you can!
This made me morbidly curious.
1. When I search for Chris P on IG, it suggests Pontius before Pratt.
2. That poem is awful. In every way a poem might be awful.
Adam Sandler is Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro are Howard Rattner?
Does this go here or the TV thread?
