wait it sounds like they did think that, else why would they be doing reshoots
it's more referring to the dailies -- disney was absolutely seeing what had been accomplished day to day well before the final thing was put together and let it ride
like by end of day one they shoulda nipped that shit in the bud, not let the entire thing film and go into post

My wife wants to go to the last weekend at the drive in tomorrow. They are doing Hustlers and Joker.
I have a feeling Hustlers will get me full of expectations of good movies and attractive ladies, then I will spend 2 hours watching Joker and be physically and mentally flaccid.
I mean regardless of what sexuality Ruby Rhod may identify with
Tucker's performance is 100% draped in gay stereotypes top to bottom
Well, except for the part where he has sex with a woman.
That has nothing to do with Tucker's performance, that is the character. They are two separate things.
I haven't read the script for The Fifth Element so Rhod may totally have been spelled out as a Frankenstein of gay tropes, but if he wasn't then Tucker's acting choices are 100% on him and kinda shitty!

It has been a while since I last saw the 5th element, and while I do remember Ruby Rhod being a gay clown stereotype, I also remember feeling really positive about the character? Because he's good and fairly heroic while acting like a caricature from a drag queen show... Or something. I'm not really sure exactly why that character stuck with me so positively, but he did.

oh man i love spooky movies
It's a bunch of jokes from the ride. Which makes me feel either way.
The end of The Martian.
Warrior, with Tom Hardy and Nick Nolte.
Similarly, the episode of Futurama with Fry's dog.
That episode is weaponized feelings.
he was just such a good, kind person!
except the met gala, everyone there belongs in a guillotine
Like anything that rich people do for pleasure, it has its issues
But it's at least fun to look at
this is both a joke and the reality we live in
Not me! I don't live in the suburbs!
The one about his brother gets me as well, when Don't You Forget About Me kicks in at the end. I'm a sucker for brother stuff.
