I don't know what I missed here, but 'tis was only a matter of time.

Also, eagerly awaiting stealth bombers so I can make Dr Strangelove references in local.

so, Siddy am are just deflect any legatimate questioning with sarcastic response and trivial statement, but am was demand logical raisins from questioners?

    MIND-BOGGLING.

At the end of the day, Mr Former-Blizzard had it right. CCP are way out of line having this kind of close contact with their players. Whether something awry is actually going on or not, having that kind of relationship only leaves it open to speculation and distrust (WE'RE JUST FRIENDS! I never kissed her..). Well-intentioned maybe, but the whole thing has backfired into one horrible internet car-crash.

dammit, people got to stop keep breaking the board.

Also, i'm going away until sunday, so i've picked one of my longer, but worthwhile, skills to train. Electronics 5 likely to come in useful? Most other things are either pointlessly short (like, 1-2 days), or part of a 20 day skill to get an extra 2% missile damage.

i think i've already got Engineering 5. I spent the last couple of months getting Caldari Cruiser and BC up to 5, and i'm trying to bolster things with some other useful skills. Not really sure which direction i'm wanting to train in, but i'm hoping there'll be some kind of a T2 Drake coming along eventually. That would be all kinds of sweet.

Man your training is out of whack compared to mine. I got Electronics/Engineering 5 directly after learning skills, I like being able to fit crappy ships :P

Also Siddy why the hell is Draxxxion in BoB now (i think RKK?) He's a Southern Connection guy that's retarded. I tried to fight him 1v1 in a rifter and he ran away-burned back to the gate and jumped through. I'm a 4 month old newbie with projectiles at 3 and support at 2 :( Kick that idiot out of your corp, it just makes you look really really bad.

it's been a shambolic, disorganised mess since i started. It's only recently i've actually put any effort and organisation into it.

I remember when I got Hull Upgrades V, yes indeed. I came spontaneously, which was a bit embarrassing since I was at work at the time. I apparently can keep track of my skill training subconsciously.

Please see this and this, for reference.

I never really much went in for the whole organised skill training thing. On the one hand, I can fly a whole bunch of different ships (with varying degrees of ability), on the other hand I'm a bit gimped for PVP because all my weapon skills are focused on missiles rather than hybrids so I'm stuck doing support roles like flying Interceptors as tacklers or Ewar Blackbirds.

Honestly? the "event rigging" allegations are just jelosy, and shuld be treated as that.

Are you seriously saying that LV happened to have the freighters full of entirely random items parked 2 jumps away from the dropoff so they could get there within half an hour of CCP announcing the mothership event?

Are you that goddamn dense? Seriously?

Erm...hello? We didnt "Just happen" to have them there. In case you forgot we were waging full scale war in Scalding pass at the time using Curse as a base.
    M. Corp are UBER UBER carebears and cap-ship constructers. They had fucktons of pos gear staged out there and Velios decide to trade some of it for a Mothership.

I do not recall any proof of misconduct from that incident so if you can point me to a post about it I would be grateful. I certainly remember the whining from goons after the fact.

I saw the thing announced on Events forums and when i got back home they had already loaded the freighters.

Also YOUR alliance was camping that system to prevent them from offloading the freighters...how did you guys know to be there BEFORE the freighters even arrived?

I lost an ishkur helping break your camp that day. Velios crashed on jump into that system and Gunship took over FC in the nick of time.
    .

Anyway time for you guys to stop crying when things dont go your way ingame. Adapt or die

With my account coming to a close, I went out and ganked someone at random just because I never have before.

I warped in on a lone frigate and let loose, blowing the guy to peices in just a few seconds. "Hey, that's easy," I thought. Then I checked my victim's character sheet and realized he was only two days old. I started feeling bad, so I transferred five million isk to his account.

I'm usually hanging around Hosh if you want to gank someone else. I could do with the 5mill :(

Honestly? the "event rigging" allegations are just jelosy, and shuld be treated as that.

Hey LV guy :P Which corp were you in, out of curiosity? I didn't realize you guys had any stations in Curse.

The entire problem with all this scandal stuff is there is no proof. Most of it can easily be dismissed as tinfoil by enemies who just want to whine. But with the t20 stuff being proven, and seeing chatlogs of LV directors telling people to get out of the t2 bpo market prior to CCP disclosing invention, well, it's really hard not to be paranoid. As well as tons of other fishy things in the past that at least imply foreknowledge of patches that were going to happen.

It's just as easy to ask for proof on the other side there wasn't any cheating going on.

Edit: Fuck this post and this thread. Let's stop the alliance pandering bullshit. Who cares, Internal Affairs is incompetent anyway, t20 proved nothing will happen as far as CCP making changes or issuing punishments, unless they want it to.

From now on this thread is about EVE the game, keep the politics out of it.

I'm going to go blow things up in empire when I get home today. It'll be fun.

Hey man I just said we should not do this anymore.

There's plenty of room on the Goonfleet forums for making fun of Siddy. I think Scrapheap also has an alliance shitslinging thread, but I'm sure this stuff has already been crossposted.

I must admit, I do occasionally wish there were more ways the visually express oneself, in the game. Not necessarily walking-in-stations, but even something like ship emotes, or something -- like a spin or a flip, to suggest happiness. Hmm, now that I think about it, the emote-spam and resulting silliness would outweigh the few times it would be appropriate.

Forget I said anything. I guess there's not really a good solution.

Ok fair enough. Here's a question: Why does everyone say Amarr is bad, yet BoB & Russians both fly them effectively? I know lasers can't change damagetype, but how much does that really matter outside of very small engagements?

Yes, I often mourn the lack of the oh-so-critical /dance command.
