I did turn down most cards I was offered in Act 3. The deck was working so well it didn’t feel like I needed anything and was better off aiming for merchants to get rid of curses (damn you calling bell) or prune strikes.

I think my desire to Spire has been compromised by watching ascension 20 streamers. To play on that level would require a lot of work. But putting it in doesn’t feel rewarding in a context where I’ve seen all the content, builds, etc, already, and where my first high ascension win would come after watching hours upon hours of other people already win streaking at 20.

I believe that watching a streamer play at max level or looking up high winrate cards or relics would lessen my enjoyment of the game so I haven’t. It’s about a personal mastery journey for me! I’m fine with trading advice with friends but that’s as far as I’ll go.

Yeah that'd be fun to DM. Just slashing down someone in the party with the plans of the villain every time you get reluctant, handing out huge setbacks all the time, until you slowly become what you hate after killing your own wife.

Thanks, yeah, I've been trying to get an estimate and some garages quote $175 for the three days we'll be there. That's what makes me think parking outside the city and taking public transport in must be cheaper, but I'm not sure where to go.
