Do you have to be high level to do the Avernus stuff?
If you play a Warlock, they reveal you made a deal with a devil.
Unfortunately. You dont have to be at the 80 cap, but less than 74 or so and crap can one shot you and you'd need to be grouped up for some of the boss fights. It's a fairly short campaign, but the enemies in it dont mess around.

I've been using a usb keyboard and now my soft-keyboard somehow decided to attempt to activate caret browsing. as there is no mouse I can't click to close the window. Pressing F7 doesn't work either... haven't tried the universal solution attempt yet but it's annoying enough to get there.

Does Alt-F4 work?
lol, I don't think you can alt+f4 out of anything on the xbox. Maybe if I hook a mouse up to my xbox I can click it away.
edit: it let me use the controller to get out... idk.

So we don't completely overrun this thread, anyone interested in getting the Neverwinter guild rolling or want to discuss mechanics or have questions let's adjourn to the venerable, if a bit underused thread in the MMO subforum:
Just maxed out Nier Automata 1000/1000. I actually bought that game day one on Ps4 as a huge fan of the original game, but life got in the way at the time and I had trouble getting back into it after only briefly starting the game back then. Post FF7 Remake, I really wanted something else action RPGy and decided to start fresh on the Gamepass version. What a great game (as I knew it would be). I'll post more thoughts on it only if people are at all fond of the game here, since this is more of a general thread.
Speaking of ARPGs, having now spent some time with Inquisitor, that is definitely an ARPG alright, and while I'd rank it as "about Torchlight level" in terms of execution, boy oh boy is it a 10/10 on the "put the steely powered boot to the Chaos filth" meter.
Nah, it's fun; I liked Torchlight. And I really like 40k, so playing an inquisitor in power armor with a jump pack and power sword and just zooming around splattering unclean vermin all over does me just fine, even if it's not like, as polished as D3.

I find myself really liking the pace of missions in Inquisitor. It's a more measured and deliberate sense of movement and positioning compared to DIII or its ilk, and I really enjoy rolling and trying to line a sniper shot just slightly off the edge of the camera view on major targets with the assassin and popping heads from max distance.
And her incredibly droll line delivery and sass she uses with your helpers and staff on the ship is great.

The story in inquisitor is quite good and the combat feels satisfying, I just wish it had more of a budget. There’s a definite “tile set” feel to the levels that takes me out of it. I also wish there were more races to fight.
Still very much enjoying it on gamepass. Also if you have an X do yourself a favour and turn the visual mode to quality over performance, it’s basically the same frame rate but way less blurry and way sharper. On my tv the performance setting was so blurry it gave me a headache
I also like that it basically gives you the option to play in story mode and just carve through everything.

I've been trying to do the same...sort of...but have mostly stalled on mission completion, weapon completion, and ending completion. Not surprising. I might get around to actually finishing that, but I suspect I'll probably won't, though maybe when the new consoles come out I'll return to it in earnest.

I was trying to grind out the rest of my event bounties and running so many missions back to back really put a spotlight on the lack of map layouts. I had like a 6 or 7 mission stretch where it was either the ice map or the desert map and I just wanted to pull my hair out. Just these wide ass open areas where you have to full clear the whole map because the bounties never spawn near an objective.
The sound design is so good though. I look forward to playing at night since I usually need to toss my headphones on and the weapons all sound so meaty and great, boltgun in particular.
I saw Inside Xbox playing that and it looks like someone took the Ecco the Dolphin concept, made open world, and threw a shark in it. You even get a sonar ability early on.
I’m really thinking hard on getting this. Looks fun.
I just looked at it on the store and it isn’t enhanced for X, hopefully that doesn’t mean sub 1080p since they only made it for the normal a One. I’ve watched two youtubers play it and it looks like a ton of fun though.
Aye, it may not be enhanced for the X, but the graphics are nice for a game of its budget.
The controls may take some getting used to though.
edit: these level 8 alligators are killing me, rofl. but I have to keep fighting them until I win instead of moving to the next area like the game suggests
edit2: and now... I can move on xD
Tail whip is very helpful. The "combat" is kind of like... joust.

Oh shit. It's 11:25 where I am and I have to work tomorrow (from home) and I'm thinking if Minecraft Dungeons unlocks at midnight my time I'm gonna at least play for a couple of hours. Plus I'm a bit drunk after having a nice socially distanced Memorial Day BBQ.

I was having fun playing Man-Eater right up until an Alligator killed me so hard that the game crashed. Booted me right back to the home screen. :rotate:
Haven't played any more of it since then.
URL about sums it up, No Man's Sky coming to Game Pass for Console next month, also coming to the Windows Store but some of the wording implies that it's not coming to PC Game Pass
NMS is pretty good from my time with it. Overwhelming in the scope and things you can do. Definitely worth a try on gamepass if you like space and exploration. And crafting. And owning multiple ships. And and and
Shantae games are fun, it's interesting to give away Destroy All Humans when they're doing a remaster though.
they might be hoping that letting people play the original will tempt them to buy the remaster for shinier graphics and achievements.
That's a risky strategy, since the remaster is reportedly light on new content. (Though it certainly looks much better and has other modernized touches.)

Lv80 according to the Campaign book.
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)

Yeah, the campaign/boons changes were uh... Hell, I don't know. At least Wizards don't seem to have changed all too much.

It's worth a shot I'd say.
But, I 1000/1000'd a certain game (that is how close I was). I was thinking about starting the Spiders game whose name I forgot atm. So many options.

Also Tyl Regor and Nef Anyo! This explains why he sounded familiar.

lol... I liked Dark Void, and Bear McCreary composed its score!
I got the 360 version this time.

Campy B Monster?
It's only 2.5 GB (or so the store page claims), no reason not to download it again.

The characters so far are campy amusing too.

Unfortunately I didn't feel like going back to rip the audio and combine it with this classic... but this commercial is on repeat as I play this game:
Like... if you are looking for a silly-fun time. go for this game. Just be aware it is understandably gory (I didn't show the eating part. :P)
