Am I the only crazy person that does broccoli florets and chicken in my mac and cheese? Like everyone in my circle of friends growing up did that all the time and I still love it.

Brocolli goes great in a cauliflower cheese, so I can imagine that in a mac and cheese made with the same cheese-roux would go well

    Um.

Isnt that basically just extra cauliflower?

Of course not! It's pasta (yum) and cheese (also yum), lemme do some quick maffs here = yum + yum = 2yum.

You don't have to put jalapenos and bacon in it! Or sundried tomatoes and roasted chicken! Eat it how you like!

So I made my air fryer vegetable fried rice twice this week. The first time was great, but I used too much soy sauce with respect to the amount of rice I used and it was too salty as a result. Yesterday, I refined my recipe and added some stuff plus used more rice with the a rebalanced amount of soy sauce. I think it’s perfect. My two Chinese roommates who eat a decent amount of “authentic” fried rice said it was great too.

    Recipe:

    1. Spray the inside of a pan that fits in the air fryer with cooking spray.

    2. Mix the following in a bowl:

4 cups of cooked, cold white rice
    1 tablespoon of sesame oil
    1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
6 tablespoons of soy sauce (La Choy)
7-8 ounces of corn (about half of a medium-large sized can)
7-8 ounces of peas (about half of a medium-large sized can)
    1 tablespoon of garlic powder
    1 tablespoon of onion powder
    1 tablespoon of sugar

    3. Mix the above well and dump into the pan.

    4. Cook in air fryer for 12 minutes at 350F, stirring halfway through (no preheat needed).

    6. Beat two eggs in a bowl and pour over rice mixture.

    7. Cook for another 8 minutes at 350F, stirring halfway through, and again at the end (unless you want it somewhat crispy on top).

Would that imply that the tongue's tongue would have a tongue as well?

Smaller and smaller tongues with smaller and smaller ball gags until we hit the subatomic level.

I call bullshit, there is no chain restaurant sriracha that's actually spicy. They all cut them with some kind of cream base

Even authentic srirachas aren't super spicy, that's not really the point of them.

I find sriracha to be excessively spicy personally.

I also find medium strength grocery store salsa to be pushing the limits of what I can tolerate

Sriracha is a little much for me but it excels at its singular purpose of making mediocre Chinese food taste good

Sriracha has this weird flavor on the back-end that I do not like.

If it's mixed into something where I can't taste that flavor it can be quite good.

But like as a dipping sauce on it's own or just directly on top something it tastes real weird in a not good way to me.

I love Sri Racha sauce, both the rooster sauce and the original competitor from Thailand that is more like slightly spicy tomatoe catsup

It's sort of a thing, I guess, my parents and sister in law buy me Sri Racha shirts

The pho food truck that sometimes comes around to this side of town has sriracha that is very hot almost to hot to eat
But I feel they use other peppers locally to make it

Well outside of Sriracha you can get very hot salsas here at smaller chains like Little Anita's
It's hot but the rest of the food smooth it out so it's excellent which is the way I feel the correct way to do hot sauces
