in PAX Unplugged
For the Tier 2 and beyond events, can we show up and play a pre-gen and just have it "not count"? Or do we HAVE TO have a Tier 2 or above legal character that we've grown from the ground up? Thanks in advance

    In the past the only pre-gen were tier 1. The only way to get into tier 2 was to have a character who is AL legal at the appropriate level.

    In my experience there's nobody checking character logs. If you show up with a fully legal tier 2 (ie it's still PHB+1 and there's no illegal items or anything) I doubt anybody would demand to see your papers.
