There seems to be plenty of places to play games in the lobby. I can't speak for this one in-particular, but I've actually played plenty of games in lobbies of hotels, and none of them had a problem with people hanging out playing games (as long as at least one person in the group was staying there).
based on my stay there for the first unplugged, there was not much space available for gaming in that hotel. Those photos are a bit misleading, as the lobby is very small and a bunch of the tables in the photos are in their restaurant/club area which is not freely accessible.
In one of the photos, there is one large table with chairs around it, and then random seating with no real tabletops. That's a pretty good view of the *entire* lobby.
That one big table is spectacular for gaming though if it isn't already full. My group and I played games using some of the decorative style tables though
