Has anyone played this lately?

I'm finally going to play the season pass stuff, and made a new character

I'm sure I'll end up with a very similar character to my last one, but it's been fun for the past two days

I see there are mods available on the PS4 now, but what is this load order business?

I would like to find some mods to improve the weather and fog stuff a bit, maybe one to improve Dogmeat

He's constantly getting hurt and crying and it's making me feel terrible, I'm ready to leave the poor pupper at home

Can someone offer me some advice?

    I played it tons back when mods first arrived. There's plenty of fun stuff on there, I particularly liked the settlement building mods, ones where you can scrap everything, even grass and trees and entire buildings, ones that raise or eliminate the build limit etc

    There are a bunch that change how companions work, I'm sure there's some for Dogmeat, I mostly rolled with Curie, though. I haven't played in ages so I can't name any specific mods, sorry.

    I've actually been thinking about doing another playthrough recently, but I feel like every time I do I make similar characters and end up doing the same things.

    The load order stuff is because some mods have issues when loaded before other mods. I never encountered any issues related to it, but that was my understanding. My favorite mod changed your wedding ring to pretty much remove any weight restrictions.

    I'm trying to browse the mod list and it's very confusing

    There lots of mods with notes to effect "this is an untested port of a four year old PC mod, ok thanks bye"

    Wow, that mod (SimpleGreen - SimpleSeasons 'Spring') and "Clean & Smooth: The Complete Commonwealth Collection (PlayStation 4 Version)" made such a dramatic difference at Sanctuary, I almost didn't recognize the place

    And Cogsworth had a couple of different lives of dialogue when I got home

    Interesting

    I'm eager to explore the rest of the game

    I also installed a mod to make the minutemen stronger, and another one to integrate the guns and gear from the expansions into the Commonwealth
