@yaya how has there been seven seasons of bosch since we first watched the awful pilot
I heard it actually got kind of good?
It did!
That pilot and first season are bad! And then they decided to spend money on it and season 2 on is good! As a dad, it's my favorite dad show.

Judging by the pilot, it's about a socially awkward, doesn't play by the book, grumpy, middle-aged white cop who kills a black guy. I didn't make it further in.
Extremely competent LA detective and former army sniper takes a season to solve one or two cases and have a very good relationship with his high school daughter. Along the way, like half the cast of The Wire shows up and Lance Reddick is a higher up in the police department and he does higher up things.
The first season is baddumb serial killer shit.

Since I can't yet muster up the will to finish S2 of Titans, I started Legends of Tomorrow finally. I like it a lot! I stopped watching Arrowverse stuff a while ago, but I had seen up to this point in the timeline, and like most of the cast quite a bit. It also fills the time travel shenanigans quota that has been sorely missing from my life.
Legends season 1 is the worst season by far
Season 2 onward is just ridiculous time travel nonsense and the show completely engages in the absurdity
It was opinions like this that convinced me to try it in the first place, but I'm already enjoying season 1 so I'm excited for it to get even better. I think it helps that the big Secrets™ either got revealed early or with good timing (and made sense with Rip lying for the good of the mission), the clashes between characters make sense because they're a ragtag group on a high stakes mission, and the romances of the week come from them not staying in one time for too long.
Also Wentworth Miller.

Artist wins 1st by virtue of the others being undefined as I have knowledge of them.
But, one of the others is a dog, so claims top spot automatically.

Obviously we don't know yet how much impact the people at Edge of Extinction will really have, but so far it seems like a lot. It may prove to have been a mistake sending Amber there so early if she can help Rob along.

Holy shit the payoff on this B99 joke!
The Kelly being a dog or wife thing was from fucking YEARS ago! Incredible call back.
The Magicians continues to be amazing this season.
Hell of a time loop episode!
Ah, it stinks, it sucks, it's anthropologically unjust

I watched the first season of The Magicians a while ago - within the past year, but more than 6 months ago, I think. Finally started season 2 and enjoyed it much more, and burned through it quickly. The use of Patrick Swayze could not possibly have been more attuned to my tastes.
Watching season 3 now and just, damn. This season has been dark, but impressive. This mosaic episode is excellent, and at this point I'm very comfortable saying that the show has surpassed the books by a wide margin.
It's nice to hear that there's more to look forward to.

I really like Lego Masters. The gravity drop challenge from the newlywed couple was insane.
The Magicians continues to be amazing this season.
This shows ability to stay so great and consistent through all this seasons puts it really high on my fav shows list.
If it can someday manage to also stick it's landing the way Mr. Robot did(that show is honestly like one of the most impressively consistent shows from start to finish I can think of) I will be very happy and more impressed.

has some wild paintings too
Yeah Hieronymous is my number one Bosch and he's who I think about any time someone starts talking about Bosch
Very disappointed that the show does not seem to be covering this territory
It doesn't look like Goldberg will be coming back though

Coran Attack!
Bosch's name is Hieronymous and there are references to the painter in the show, at least in one of the seasons
Yeah I meant more in an ingesting peyote and witnessing the last judgment sort of way
Or at least like, an art cop in the sense that he solves art crimes, not boring old serial killers

Though all the actors were having awkward pauses in their delivery that you didn't normally have in non-live episodes.
