I interpreted it as he just dropped the ski boot on his foot and it hurt but I guess it could have already been a sore foot. He definitely drops the boot on it first, though.

That is a giant-sized boarding pass that I assume was printed out by the fellows laughing in the video having said "Don't worry about it mate, we already put it in your bag".
huh neat, did they do that by having a ring of cameras like the matrix's rotating freeze frame shots?
looks like the camera is spinning around a track
or it's reversed, one of the two
the camera would have to be spinning around above the speed of sound. It's just a bunch of cameras. What's nice about the setup is they can achieve 100,000 frames per second by using multiple cameras synched at much lower fps each.

The image spinning as it is actually makes me kind of nauseated. Must be some sort of artifact of the processing to render it as one continuous video isn't "real" enough for my brain and it processes it as "hey let's give this fucking idiot motion sickness". I wish it was just one steady shot.

Who said it had anything to do with cooling?
They've got glands on their paws and nose and such.
I think this method would also help cool them down with panting but I'm not a dog scientist.
This was my thinking too but I don't see any fur moving in the current!
probably printed? I dunno, maybe it's hand-painted

Oh, shit, he's on youtube?!?
If this makes some of you angry, I apologize. Please have this nostalgic offering (sound again).
Apparently Little Richard sang the theme song, I had no idea.
"Ah man, who could have foreseen this? So sorry about your bowl, Dave, these clumsy paws of mine...curse them"
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.

No, it's clearly the fastest camera in the West:
Leica the Kid.
