    Also, Countdown.
    He's back, bitches!

That, and the attack on Jimmy Olsen...

Have to admit - I did not see that one coming.

Too bad it introduced a deus ex machina for Gammas which will be used and then instantly forgotten at the same time.

Dan Slott is generally too silly to have any of his work acknowledged by other books in the Marvel Universe anyway.

I took a look at those last pages and I have to agree with you on that point. Especially the way he explained why he hit her with the nanites. Made me think of his beef with Peter. Gotta wonder who he'll use those nanites on next.

Man, the bad thing is that I'm an Iron Man fan. I've always liked the character, and that just makes me want him to get smashed so bad for the way he's become.

I mean, shit Tony, you were one of my heroes. Why you gotta go off and turn into a huge fucktard?

Not that I agree with the direction some characters have taken of late, but if any MU characters were going to wind up acting like that then Stark, Reed and Pym would pretty much top my list of most likely to act like a complete wanker.

Come to think of it, Xavier would feature highly on that list too...

EDIT: Who is with Falcon on the last page of Captain America? Is that Winter Soldier?

Goddammit, Hooraydiation! I clicked on your spoiler and spent a good ten seconds trying to figure out why he looked so different and what the hell he was doing in a Captain America comic!

...which is a sign that it's getting late here. Time to go.

EDIT: Thank you, Htown! And ... shit I really have to start buying that comic again!

    Wisdom had some good ones.
Pete killing Maureen was a D: :( moment. And then John Lennon says "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make," for the required absurdity.

    Oh, and:
"We've got an army made up of fairys and the Beatles, and we're fighting H.G. Wells' Martians and bloody Jack the Rippers...Who's next? Dick Van Dyke? Mr Bean? John Cleese and his dead parrot?"
    "No...
CAPTAIN BRITAIN!" *punches Martian war machine in half*
"You tosser! You took your time, didn't you?"
