So, there was this countdown thing? Over on Atari? Yeah, anyway, the new Godzilla beat-em-up coming out for the Wii is going to have 23 playable monsters.
Oh, and Godzilla is suddenly female. Not sure how that happened but whatever.
You can see some little animated cards for 4 monsters (Godzilla 2000, Gigan, Megalon and Kiryu) over on www.atari.com/godzilla. Click on the cards twice to read little blurbs on the critters. Most likely more cards will be added over time.
Personally, Godzilla makes me all moist. Gigan and Megalon are retards. Kiryu is just Mechagodzilla and I'll take Transformers or Evangelion for my giant robot porn, thanks. Otherwise the Godzilla fighting games have always been ridiculous amounts of fun for me but I fear what the Wii controls might be. I'm hoping they don't try to do anything goofy just for the sake of using all the controllers functionality.

The '2000' bit of the name is surely reffering to the (I admit 1998) film. Classic Godzilla will be a seperate fighter.
