OSX ssh CLI client question

So, using the standard ssh command line client that comes with OSX, I am having a little trouble. It never asks for a user name! I will do ssh my.domainn.ame (whatever) and it only asks for a pass. It of course rejects me since I never put in a user name (or it puts the wrong one in for me). What gives?

    It uses the username you are currently logged on as by default .. i think you want "ssh -l user blah.blah.com"

    Alternatively, "ssh [email protected]" works fine too.
