DS Lite maintenance

So my lovely little DS Lite, it's d-pad is beginning to feel some wear and tear. To be more specific my right button isn't quite as responsive as it used to be, light taps will not register, I need to put in a bit more effort and hold it down a tad longer.

Anybody have remedies or methods to cure my sick d-pad?

Try to get one of those air dusters and spray into the cracks. Don't overdo it. It worked for my phone when the joystick got unresponsive.
