The Guardian Legend was one of my top 5 NES Games... maybe even top 3. I adore everything about it, and sunk so much rental money into it.
To learn that it was a sequel to an MSX exclusive was... woah.
To learn that Compile did this predecessor game, and see many of the same sound effects, power ups, and mechanics in an earlier version... damn.
And I'm very glad the AI system wasn't in Guardian Legend, because the game was super tough already.
I am not sure what's up with Compile Hearts, though. But Guardian Legend is very high on my list of games I'd like to see a spiritual successor to these days.

The movie this is from is Padmavaat. It's pretty good. It pretends to be a historical epic but the history is suspect at best so don't take it too seriously.

I just learned that Seth Everman's videos have gotten the joke fan dub treatment. This pleases me, as it means I need to go back through his videos with subtitles on.

It's the Myst remix. The original is a bit more...oldschool hardstyle.

I both read the title and watched the original clip before deciding that I wouldn't let facts get in the way of a good joke.
I was originally cool on Rick but he's super grown on me. I also think he makes some of the best, most accessible recipes on the staff.
