I wanted to make no bake cookies so i was at the Trader Joe’s and they had rolled oatmeal and steel cut and I never had steel cut so I figured I’d try it but then I realized it wouldn’t work in the cookies so then I made a pot and it took forever so I wondered if anyone actually liked them or not.
Strongly prefer steel cut - I will stand proudly as I get mobbed by haters, strong in my conviction that I'm right
But really I find they have a richer, nuttier flavour that goes really nicely with a dollop of peanut butter and a drizzle of maple syrup

Some weird shit I never heard of from, like, Slovakia
I have a colleague that I like but who totally can’t read when I’m stressed or short on time which can lead to annoying situations a lot of times. Lots of days I literally don’t have even 2 minutes available unless I’m in the bathroom, like now, I can’t look over once every half hour to look at electric cars or stuff like that. But he can’t read cues.

Oh I have one of those, he's like 25 and he genuinely loves his work and spends all his time looking up interesting stuff that's (semi-)related to our work. I am an old and I just don't have the bandwidth to focus on more than one thing at a time. I wish I was excited about work as this dude, but there's just too much going on in my life.
He does not take hints at all, so sometimes I just have to be very straightforward that I do not have time for him.

Ughhhh.
Felt bad yesterday, ended up staying home - which was a good decision given what my body did. But as a result, my sleep schedule is jacked up. I slept pretty much all yesterday, and now I woke up at midnight and cannot fall back asleep. I've got about 3-4 hours till work. I'm not sure if I should try to realign things or if I should call in sick again.

Ok my buddy has been having a lot of crashes when playing GTFO and his thought for some reason was that he was running out of RAM.
He has 8GB RAM and just last week installed I think a GTX 1660 6GB. He claims that the video card is reserving and extra 6GB of his RAM when playing. Is this a thing and if so how do you stop it? Video card reserving RAM seems to me like something consoles do in fact do but I haven't heard about it for PC's.
