I don't remember Spider-Man being mixed with Robin. I remember Jubilee being mixed with Robin, and Spider-Man being mixed with Superboy.

Maybe it’s how absurdly tiny her waste is compared to her hips, but does this look like the artist forgot to draw two legs for her until way too late? Her right leg (left side of the picture for us) looks really off to me, like it was inserted later.

it looks like she's been DBZ'd cut in half and the two sections are sliding apart.

The most interesting thing about Marvel Vs DC is the creation of Access - the Maguffin character of the crossover that is now owned by both companies.

I wonder what Ms Marvel's origin is gonna be. Think they still pull Inhumans? Or are they being stuffed into the memory hole?

I'm honestly kind of surprised that they're going to do Secret Invasion as a D+ series and not a big movie. As an event that, in the comics, was a massive deal affecting every hero in all parts of the world, you'd think that would be something you'd want on a big-screen so that everyone could see it and observe how it changes the plot threads of the MCU. Unless it's not actually going to be that big, which would be kind of disappointing.

Keep in mind what the Skrulls are in the MCU compared to what they are in the comics. In the comics it was a full blown alien invasion, while in the MCU it's likely going to be much smaller in scope given the Skrulls are oppressed refugees and there's already a bunch of them who are allied with Earth.

I'm disappointed that they're doing that storyline at all, alien invasion stuff and even zombie stuff are often rooted in xenophobia and racism, which is not good at any time

Secret Invasion was one of the least interesting big MC crossovers imo so keeping it to a smaller scope is a-ok in my books.
The biggest parts of it aren't even part of the MCU. People like Spider-Woman, Norman Osborne, and even Elektra not being present really declaw the whole threat.

It's gonna all be lame side character reveals - like Sharon Carter is proooobably a Skrull. Shit like that.

The MCU has already killed like every villain and also a bunch of it's heroes because of contract stuff or, tragically, the actor themselves passing.

There's nobody interesting for them to have secretly been an alien.

What if they just turn the whole thing on its head and Secret Invasion is the Black Swans incursion storyline, but with 800 fewer characters?

Also which of these side characters in government/shield is a secret enemy is kind of a retread of Hydra/Shield infiltration.

Firstly, that's not true. There's a quite a few villains still running around.

Secondly, there's a character in Falcon and Winter Soldier that a lot of people are already speculating is a Skrull.

Almagam in 2021 would be interesting because the heroes that they would use/that are popular are different now.

I wonder if it'll be the Defenders of the Disney Plus shows with a greater focus on the supporting casts. They already used that end hook In Wanda for one character, fold in folks like Walker and his new friend.

This makes me think Secret Invasion will have something more akin to Men in Black vibes. It won't be "anyone could be an imposter! We have to watch our backs!" like Captain Marvel was

    hopefully.

I don’t know nothing about the comics really but it might be fun to have the Secret Invasion be Earth’s Skrulls on an assassination mission against the Supreme Intelligence.

I think we still get Darkclaw but the rest is probably different.

Maybe! There is enough bat family that we probably still get Darkclaw in some form.

    Like say Batwoman x Wolverine/Laura

The only similarity is that they break the fourth wall. Deadpool and Harley Quinn do that to tell jokes, Gwenpool's does it as a larger metacommentary on comics and storytelling, being that she's a "real person" who now exists in a fictional world.

    Thunder-Bat’s supporting cast:
    Korg + Alfred = Rockworth
Commissioner Gordon + Heimdall = Commissioner Bifrost
    Cat-Woman + Sif = Mountain Lion
Oracle + Jane Foster = Physic
Warriors Three + Robins = Round Robins
Hela + Poison Ivy = Deadly Nightshade
Ice Giants + Penguin = The Emperors
    Destroyer + Bane = Rabies*
Surtur + Killer Croc = Níðhöggr / Devourer
    Hulk + Two-Face = Mr. Gamble

    *I couldn’t think of one.

I was actually doing an Amalgam type of thing when developing an Eberron game for some TTRPG stuff.

I combined Daredevil with Batman (as well as Captain America with Wonder Woman).

Its been a project I have been slowly developing in my head for the past year or so.

Iron Bat would be the least interesting combo possible. The differences between the two characters are cosmetic, cape vs armor, detective vs inventor.

Even the most interesting thing, basically what if Tony Stark had Batman's supporting cast and rogues gallery, is only interesting because of the other characters being changed. Though if you made Stark/Wayne already dead... that could be a fun book

One thing about the original Amalgam comics is that they were part pander (Darkclaw) and part push (Spider-boy)
