I think if they ever finish this season it’s playoffs starting with current standings in late summer unless we really manage to pull it together against this thing which, well, I probably wouldn’t hold my breath.

That would put the Finals at the start of next season
NBA playoffs are fucking looooong, although it’s been a while since Philly fans have gotten a taste of the full length

Har har also I’m aware but think it’s that or just don’t have a champion. Which is the other possibility of course but I would imagine they would try.
So, it looks like Gobeet played a game on Monday, got sick on Tuesday where they ordered a test, then groped the mics om Wed. Wow, I hereby renounce any small defense I made of him.
I get that Gobert was stupid, but I can think of several other people that I would rather see made an example of instead. Like, say, the entire republican senate, the white house, and every other administrative dipshit that could have actually done something to prevent this a month ago.
People are jumping on Gobert because he's easily visibly example of karma or whatever, but I see tweets like "Gobert should be arrested! How could he do something so irresponsible????" and just kinda roll my eyes. Like, literally every fucking authority figure in this country has been criminally irresponsible, but sure, let's make an example out of Rudy fucking Gobert.
Its incredibly funny how quickly his teammates sold him out on this
I've been saying all season that Conley's troubles fitting in with the Jazz and their weird rollercoaster win/loss streaks are because of Gobert's prima donna attitude, so this is just the "Oh come on" icing on the cake.
He's an idiot 25 year old kid, and yeah, he deserves to be scolded, but it's not entirely his fault. If we had any kind of leadership that was taking this thing seriously before last night, Gobert's thing never would have happened.

He seems like a really good dude.
Can’t believe he went to Duke
That's good of him but you know who should be doing it.
The billionaire who owns the pelicans.
Can he even do that? Does he make enough? I wonder how much it costs.
call it a half million dollars?
he's good
I'm glad the stars are just like us
