I want to say it’s clear Lebron and Luka are the best players in the NBA, but Giannis probably roastsruns and dunks on them both still, not to mention Harden, plus Kawhi is still the reigning champ until he’s not, and what if Dame were healthy...

Bring back the Rock and Jock 50 and 100 point shots,
I’m trying to work out if the Lebron for MVP talk is press thanking Lebron for backing China and not killing the NBA there or because they want more traffic for a rehash of MJ/Lebron again.

He's also having a ridiculous season at age 35 and leading the best team in the West that just beat the Bucks and Clippers in one weekend. And even then most of the talk has been caveat'd with "Giannis is going to run away with it, but".
True, but if Curry/Durant were considered disqualified because of how good the two were, does that not hold for Lebron/AD?
Edit: I do try to keep in mind that Giannis is playing in the East, since I mentally docked Lebron for it. I think the East is better than it was when Lebron was there, but it’s still not the West.

At this point in the season I’d 100% vote Lebron as the MVP

Curry/Durant also had Klay and Draymond. How could Durant be regular season MVP when they they won more games without him the season prior?

I'm not saying shit about MVP until we finish this last chapter.
But Bron at 35 doing what he's doing is going to sway enough people to make it more interesting than it was going to be.

He’s leading the league in assists by a lot at 35, about 40% more this season than his career average. Just flipped that switch the moment he moved to LA.
AD is having a ridiculous season, the best season another player has had playing with Lebron, and is completely overshadowed.
In terms of value and impact though, I think it’s Giannis>>Harden>>Lebron>Luka>Dame

Beat Wilt's 101.
It's only righteous Steph does that.
That's going to be a loud ass crowd.
Vince, c'mon . . . that guy had a family.
I hope that old man gets into the HoF, it's pretty impressive to play professional nba basketball as long as he did and still well get paid to do it
And he ain't half bad
The Lakers offense may be shaky at times but the defense is fantastic.

Not awesome reaction
EDIT: And of course the Mavs lose.
Like it’s one thing to be the tough guy and it’s another thing to act like guarding the best player in NBA history is easy.
Never forget:
“Pat Bev trick y’all, man, like he playing defense. He don’t guard nobody, man. He just running around, doing nothing.” - Russell Westbrook

*he has 2 more gears in April/May and yet 2 more after that in June...
He only did that in the playoffs
The West just had/has a shallower pool of shit- the top East teams (when not getting Lebronto’d) were fine
