I found it quite entertaining, no one in the film outside of Dorff really takes it seriously and both Hopper and Dance basically have a scenery chewing contest whenever they're in the same scene.
It's a delightful so bad, it's good in my book.

Stuart Gordon was one of the finest horror directors of all time
He deserves at least partial credit for my love of horror movies, and this is a damn shame

And if you're for some reason currently without a Shudder account/membership, they currently have a month free trial (due to coronavirus) with the promo code SHUTIN
I got my Steelbook of Street Fighter in and this movie is freaking me out in this quality. I owned this movie on VHS when I was in 7th or 8th grade and watched it probably 40 times.
All movies are equal in quality in so far as they exist which is why that haunted Jerry Lewis concentration camp clown movie that kills you when you see it and may not exist is the best movie

there's a lot to love about the notion of The Day The Clown Cried, and its history, but I think my favorite thing is that one of the handful of people who've seen it is Harry Shearer, aka the bassist for Spinal Tap

Wonder Woman 1984 pushed from June to Aug. 14, taking the place of James Wan's new movie, Malignant. That and Scoob and In the Heights are now pushed to ???? release dates.
And a handful of 2020 releases hit VOD today, The Gentleman, Bloodshot, The Way Back and Saint Frances.
i wonder what theatres are even doing at this point

Never been a better time to watch that classic movie. And From Beyond, too! And while we're at it, Dagon, Castle Freak and ROBOT JOX.
Also Stephen Dorff! I have it on DVD in a box somewhere!
Charles Dance is in this film as a cyborg who rebuilt everything... every organ.
Charles Dance as the villain as well.

@Knob have you heard of re-animator?
It's fine? It's cheap and looks and feels it but it's a decent enough romp.
