Yes and no, assumedly it will do the same stuff only at 1080p or so instead of 4k

its a good way to cut costs and a good entry point for kids and the less tech savvy.

Sniper you since you have it some of the best series on there are:

    Superior Spider-Man
    Wolverine and the X-Men
    New X-Men
    Rocket Raccoon
Guardians of the Galaxy (the arc with the cancer verse is all on there)
    Darth Vader

There are more but that is off the top of my head.

Nah, it's just a computer. Being able to update the computer more often than every 7-8 years is a good thing. The PS4 came out in 2013! Graphics and processing power and HDD speeds have come a long way since then!

As long as they keep doing a decent job of making things run on the older stuff with less bells and whistles, it's a good thing. They haven't been super great at this in some cases, to be fair.

I do have trouble sometimes because a lot of these series seem to sort of assume you've read...everything, ever.

I've read an absolute bucketload of Spidey at this point so I've got a decent handle on that. I'm gonna dive right into Superior I think but I'll check out other stuff as it comes up. And whenever I hit a major "event" I branch off to see what's happening in the other books.

No, because technology continues progressing regardless. Having to make games for consoles that are 7 years old holds back progress on the PC side too. More options is better!

    Secret Wars is crap.

Also pissed me off because it killed New X-Men and Wolverine and the X-Men. Both were very good self contained comics. And you don't need a huge amount of comic knowledge just the cultural osmosis of X-Men is enough.

Rocket is very self contained and has fun artwork.

Vegas is terrible but san francisco is def a toilet. Not figuratively. It's a cool city with a lot of neat stuff. But literally as in a great number of human beings urinate and defecate directly on it and the smell is at times overwhelming.

To spoof touchid you would need a conducting fingercap thingie which you can definitely make but takes effort and specialized tools (and it’s harder to get someone’s fingerprint than a photo of their face).

Police may be allowed to hold a phone up to your face but they can't make you look at the phone. So if you have an iPhone they can try this three times and then it's locked out and you're good. If you have an android phone with that face id knockoff that doesn't do a gaze or alertness check then you are boned.

FaceID uses a 3D model of your face, checks that it has the IR textural qualities of skin (smooth, lots of scatter), verifies that you are alert and the gaze from at least one eye is open and on the phone. It fails on identical twins and the early version on blood relatives with close appearance (tho that seems to be fixed now)

Not on the amazon link let me see...

Oh, okay, yeah that's confusing. But those are just bundles with a game included. The three standard ones are much easier to understand. And presumably if you go into a store, they'll have a salesperson walk you through it and end up convincing you to get the 30 dollar a month one anyway. It's not super simple, but neither are cell phones and people get new phones on a yearly rotation that are much more expensive than this.

Ok I figured it must but yeah haven’t looked at all
I was considering bidding on https://www.iarpa.gov/index.php/research-programs/odin this a while ago before realizing my company at the time would have to partner with a bunch of other people to seem like a credible vendor and that seemed like a giant pain, so I looked up a bunch of the tech, but that was before anyone had rolled out faceid for everyday consumers I think

At the proposer day there were demos of how you could easily make 3d fingerprint casts that fooled touchid sensors and that was really cool. Spy shit!
